mag-ingat sa laptops -- baka ang makuha (lalo pag ECS) ay "portable desktops"
mabibigat ito.
tips:
1. with 10/100 lan (meorn na rin gigabit ethernet)
2. with wi-fi (wireless lan)
3. widescreen kung ok sayo / 15" lcd kung hindi
4. combo drive (dvd-read + cdrom [re]write, pwede rin dvd-rw)
5. ibm/toshiba/dell/compaq
6. wag celeron, at least 512mb of ram na kunin mo. doesnt matter kung ddr or sdr.

kung tight ang budget, better to get those used Pentium3 laptops (800MHz or higher)
upgrade mo na lang ang ram to say 256 or 512mb (3k to 5k).

50 thou to 60 thou, medyo mababa ata budget ah. i think it can only get an Athlon or a Celeron. Make sure the clock speed is a little bit high (e.g. Athlon 2.0 Ghz, Celeron 2.0 Ghz) tapos RAM should be at least 512 MB for Windows XP, kundi gagapang yan. Try Acer.

meron dyan ibm p4-2.2ghz -- P68k
kung pwede try to get it without the bundled software - baka mas mura. buy ka ng winxp pro (kung ako edi WinXP Pro SP1 GH Version or better yet install RedHat 9 / Fedora Core2 Linux)
internet, cd writing, dvd movies and docs lang naman diba?
