pangit nga system works 2006...instead use norton internet security 2006.

kung merun kang spare na HDD na merun OS and an update antivirus program, boot from there (gawin mong slave yung problem HDD). Then try mo i-check ulit ang problem HDD....duda ko merun virus.

Then after checking, back-up or copy the files you need from that HDD...then i-full format mo ang original na HDD...next time I suggest ipartition mo ang HDD...separate the OS programs para madaling mag-recover.

yeh, i dont use my pc as of this time. saturday ko pa mapapareformat because i have work. i used norton 2004 before but it didnt give me headaches like what happened to me now.

My cousin will be the one to reformat my pc. pucha nagtanong ako dito sa mga internet shop dito sa may amin, sinisingil ako ng 550-1k for reformating. hehehe. di bale nalang, pinsan ko nalang.

i already transfered my files to my drive d (back up) so i dont have to worry about it.

I think my pc is due for reformating, its been three years since i got it. virgin pa hahaha.

I would rather have the free stuff from the net:

AVG - Anti Virus
ZoneAlarm - For Firewall
Spybot & AdAware - For removing spyware
RegCleaner - For cleaning the registry
FireFox - For Anti-phising features

Bakit ok eto? Coz they are award-winning software & absolutely free!

It'd be nice though if there were capable free realtime antispyware software besides Windows Defender (which is pretty decent in its own right). Most others I've seen aren't far off from being spyware themselves.

Nagexpire na ang Norton Systemworks 2005 at Norton Internet Security 2005 ko sa PC.
Tried installing the ff:
Mcafee Virus Scan Professional Edition - Magkakaroon daw ng mga problems it is recommended you STOP Installing. Meaning not compatible according to Windows XP Service pack 2 na ako ah..
PC Cillin 2003 - Nainstall pero hindi lumalabas ang registration para mactivate hindi rin maguupdate ang virus definitions atbp
Kahit hindi pa ako cgurado dito sa Norton install ko pa rin
Norton 2K6 - Nainstall kaso ito lumabas after ng installation at restart

Meron pa hindi lumalabas ang text na natinatype ko sa ym.Inisip ko baka hindi ko pa kase config.

Kung sino merong CD na anti virus pahiram naman pls..pls..pls...

For me, AVG/Defender/XP and router firewalls are good enough on my pc.

i also just use AVG, XP firewall, and my router firewall. haven't had any problems so far.

try Avast home edition. it's free. automatic updates pa.

yup, try AVAST. It does a daily update check so it's library is pretty up-to-date.

Try ko yan avast pag gumana na ulit yung modem ko na nagloloko.Ginagamit ko ngayon yung lumang pc.Nasanay na din kase ako sa norton.
Papaayos ko na din ang PC ko.Mas reliable pa ata itong lumang pc ko kahit na medyo mabagal.

Meron pa akong question paano kung expired na yung 2k5 na norton?Pwede ba renew yung date of expiry?
Kase yung akin nagexpire na pero hindi ko na siya marenew
Wala na bang ibang way?
Kakilala ko ang ginawa niya uninstall ng norton tapos install ulit oks na ulit nagagamit niya ulit ang norton niya.Ganun ba talaga ang effect ng pirated na OS sa original na OS pwede mo ulit magamit paulit ulit ang norton?

Wala na ng ibang way, well wala naman mawawala kung subukan mo yung AVG + Zone Alarm tutal LIBRE naman.

May mga quick fixes, registry modifiers, etc. kang puwedeng ma-download sa www.symantec.com.

Puwede ring repair install gamit yung WinXP CD, pero safest pa rin clean install.

The day before
Update Norton 2006
Then I turned on the PC at midnight and the PC hanged two times when I started to login in my account which I don't know why but I uninstalled Norton 2006 immediately then I restarted and its ok again.

Here's what I've done to my PC yesterday
Downloaded and Installed Avast Antivirus
Downloaded and Installed IE7

Another problem of my PC some buttons when I am browsing dont work I dont know why.The smileys dont work.Shoutbox of tsikot just says LOADING....Yahoo messenger when I press send I dont see the reply I made even the message of the one I am chatting.Tried reinstalling it but its still the same.I can't install the 8.0 version of yahoo messenger because the button of Get started doesn't work.
In friendster I can't view pictures when I logged out and I press log in the one I logged out before still logs in.
Windows Media Player says an Internal Application Error has Occurred

Can anyone help?
