I got this message from a certain JHON F. SANTIAGO, +63 921 760 6575, saying
"D'AUDITORS of PHIL. CHARITY FOUNDATION nform u dat ur CELFON nos. WON P950,000 2nd prize winner, drw last NOV 9, 2004. PLS CALL ME NOW"
What do you think guys? Is this just another scam? We did not reply nor call him back as yet.
Does anyone here works for some outfit that has the capability to check on this?

November 13th, 2004 05:18 PM #2If you call him back, he will ask you where to deposit some cash needed to be able to claim your prize. Talk to him and indicate that you don't know much about bank transactions. Then let us know when, where and who to look out for.
Perpetrators like this should be sampled once in a while to prevent them from spreading.

Obviously it is a scam or a bogus promo. Walang pinagkaiba yan sa e-mail na nagkalat ang spam mails. Kung ako sayo just ignore it and delete in your inbox. Kapag kasi di mo yan pinansin at di ka kumagat sa pain nila, titigil din yan at magsasawa. Wag mo na pag-aksayahan ng panahon balikan kung sino pa yan. Wag ka nang gumastos sa walang kwentang bagay. Nambibiktima lang yan. Matagal ng rocket yan at wag ka nang pabiktima pa.

may gumawa na ng ganyan sa akin.... he texted me that he/she is from globe telecom and told me that i won 5k worth of prepaid credits... hmmm... e nakaline ako nung time na yun tapos panu ako mananalo ng ganun.. tinawagan ka ayaw sagutin..so tinadtad ko ng text na sabi ko tga globe ako... hayun, nagsorry at sabi nagbibiru lang daw siya at nawrong send lang daw... :D

November 18th, 2004 05:59 PM #17scam po...my wife also received a text msge na nanalo daw siya ng crosswind...she later found out na modus operandi ito...hihingan ka pa raw ng pera para sa vehicle insurance tapos goodbye na sa iyong pera...di ko lang matandaan yung exact details kung pano ka nila lolokohin pero ito ang ginagawa nila...
