mobile phone scam?

Peeps,

I got this message from a certain JHON F. SANTIAGO, +63 921 760 6575, saying

"D'AUDITORS of PHIL. CHARITY FOUNDATION nform u dat ur CELFON nos. WON P950,000 2nd prize winner, drw last NOV 9, 2004. PLS CALL ME NOW"

What do you think guys? Is this just another scam? We did not reply nor call him back as yet.

Does anyone here works for some outfit that has the capability to check on this?

Many thanks. If it is a scam, then everyone be forewarned. If we can find a way to find out it is good, then we will have a new Mazda 3! Drinks on us.....

If you call him back, he will ask you where to deposit some cash needed to be able to claim your prize. Talk to him and indicate that you don't know much about bank transactions. Then let us know when, where and who to look out for.

Perpetrators like this should be sampled once in a while to prevent them from spreading.

Obviously it is a scam or a bogus promo. Walang pinagkaiba yan sa e-mail na nagkalat ang spam mails. Kung ako sayo just ignore it and delete in your inbox. Kapag kasi di mo yan pinansin at di ka kumagat sa pain nila, titigil din yan at magsasawa. Wag mo na pag-aksayahan ng panahon balikan kung sino pa yan. Wag ka nang gumastos sa walang kwentang bagay. Nambibiktima lang yan. Matagal ng rocket yan at wag ka nang pabiktima pa.

If its too good to be true then its a scam. Nobody gives away money just like that, hirap na kumita ngayon.

me too, nakatangap din ako txt message na this celfon#won P1M handog pamasko daw frm San Miguel by Rey Sotto, kono', pero di ako naniwala kasi celfone #din gamit nya, at nag verify din ako sa company about promo, negative... sayang sana toto para masaya..>>
