Anyone knows where I can buy Panasonic Inverter Microwave ovens here in the PH? I've been scouting Appliance stores like Anson's and SM but I can't find any. I just want to know if there's one locally before I buy from SG or HK (para 220v). Thanks.

Why the need for inverter microwave ovens? You're just going to use it for a few minutes at a time, savings in electricity will just be negligible. Kahit na gamitin mo pa yan sa mga convenience stores like 7-11, di naman continuous ang pag gamit, bale wala ang pagka-inverter nya.

Actually, pati washing machines meron din inverter.

I just want an inverter tech microwave because it cooks way better than traditional microwave (at least, accdg to its white paper and consumer reviews).

I'm not really after the power savings, but of its cooking advantages over classic mwave ovens.

I read the paper and I checked what kind of "changes" the inverter tech did for the microwave oven sa ibang sites. Well the technology behind the microwave (how it heats our food) is still the same. What changed was you get more power levels. Meaning it's not just the usual low med high. Now you can dial in more levels.

If your cooking or recipe (i.e., heat food at 60% power for 2 mins) calls for that then this is a definite must buy. Pero even the article doesnt boldy claim any kind of drastic electric bill savings, so you dont really buy this for savings.

Personally, I'd get it for its looks hehe ganda eh. Let me know if you find a store that carries the product sir. Goodluck! Ü

sa US, HK at SG ko pa lang nakita mga ito e. I'm looking for one locally for warranty purposes. Medyo malaki rin kasi kaya hassle dalhin.

Actually, halos pareho lang ang idea nya sa inverter motors, sa traditional mwave, on/off lang ang beam, ito sinusoid ang wave, high to low na gradual (at least, that's what I understood) that's why it's better. I don't really imagine myself cooking using a microwave but who knows. It's a nice to have feature, just in case the need arises.

Also, it does claim power savings, by being more efficient in input:output. That's also the reason why it's 9lbs lighter than a comparable model /capacity.

If you really 'cook' using a microwave oven, then this should be a good buy. But if you're like the majority of microwave users like me who only uses it to reheat food or warm those instant microwavable dishes, then the traditional microwave ovens will do.

    Agree with boybi.

We replaced our microwave 2 yrs ago I think. I just got a regular Samsung microwave, I felt no need for inverter because it's used only a few minutes a day. I will only buy inverter if it's used daily and or for several hours a day. Refrigerator for me sulit because that's on 24 hrs a day

Yeah only my ref and aircons are inverters. The rest aren't used for prolonged periods so no need for an inverter.

    Using a Sharp microwave now.

Got it for 6k last year. The Samsung microwaves are nice design-wise, but my friend who works in Samsung doesn't recommend them so I went with a Japanese brand instead.

Also check out Panasonic, they make really durable microwaves. We have one that's at least 15 years old now but still works perfectly. Around 8-9k for Panasonic microwaves.

Sharp was our first microwave that was more or less 25 yrs old before we had to replace! I can't remember why I bought a Samsung, either the Sharp was too expensive or they did not have it available in Anson's

Pinakaproblem daw with Samsung microwaves is that they don't have spare parts available locally for it. So as long as yours doesn't break (Samsungs are generally well made naman), then it shouldn't be an issue.

Maybe just manage expectations that it won't last as long as Panasonic or Sharp.

Thank you Ms. Cathy and Sir Jut.. Sige, i-give up ko na yung idea ng Inverter sa Microwave.. Na-curious lang din ako since 8 years na nakakaraan and iba pa din ang may feedback sa actual users..
I"ll check Panasonic pala kung ganun.. Adik ako sa brand na yun eh hahahahaha [emoji23]..
OT: Kapag appliances sa Japanese brand lang din ako natingin.. Nung bumili ako air purifier dun ko lang nalaman na yung Sharp pala Japanese brand.. Wala kasi air purifier yung Panasonic..
