BTW my CATV internet speed is about 1mbps & 0.4mbps for download & upload respectively. would there be any issue on video buffering set at lowest video quality for youtube or any LG media app?

mine is 2mbps. Pag wireless gamit ko may lag. Pero ok sya pag cable. Kahit pa may ibang gumagamit ng net. I think ok din sya for 1mbps basta nka cable ang lan.

Makikita mo yun during registration. Kasi you need to choose kung anong plan. Lowest is 300+ pesos. I think per device po yung fees. I chose 450 (default) for 2 devices yata.

Hmmm...I would think quality would indeed suffer and buffer (hehe) abit. Alam mo naman ang Internet natin in the country... My previous speed was already 1.5mbps then Skybroadband upgraded it to 3mbps. I'd say quality was alright for both those speeds. There were some moments when it buffered kasi nga magulo connection/actual speed natin dito but then it would also buffer (very seldom naman) even after upgrading to 16mbps just last month. It could be due to other factors though like wifi, router, other people in the house using the internet.

Pero kasi nung naka 1.5mbps and 3mbps ako, ang ganda na talaga ng quality ng Youtube vids sa LG tv compared when watching on a computer monitor, laptop or smartphone/tablet.

My tv is also connected via wifi so it updates the WebOs from time to time. It's cool watching iWanTv and Youtube. There are also other media apps you can try that are included in the WebOs. I also watch videos/pictures from my smartphone on my LG (though I'm sure you can do this on some other brands as well).

Yep, malakas nga po sa baterry yung magic remote. Kaya gamit ko is rechargable batteries from my retired wireless mouse. Alternately, you can download lg remote apps to your smartphone.

i think supported din ng lg tv ang keyboard and mouse, even gamepads. pero di ko pa to na try. Just read it from manuals, pero may mga brand lang na supported.

You can also use your android phones and laptop to search youtube and play it directly to your lg tv.

You can also play videos from your laptops' windows media player to your lg tv. Of course, the devices should be on the same network.

Pinaka mababang plan ng PLDT ang internet ko. Less than 1mbps lang. Auto adjust or pwd mo e setup ang quality..
