I'm deciding between 2 models priced at PHP30k and PHP40k

The differences are in red. Is it really worth the PHP10k price difference? I really like the backlit keyboard feature but I am hesitant to pay an additional PHP10k for that one feature that I like. And the other features may not be worth it since I only use my laptop to browse, email and download music from *******.

    P30K vs. P40K?
    i3 vs. i5?
    NVIDIA vs. Intel for Graphics?
    2GB vs.4GB?
Kingston 2GB Memory;DLINK Wireless Router DIR-605L vs. nothing?

Tama ba ang pagkaka-pick-up ko ng info?

Sis CFY, if I were you, I'd go for the P30K unit.

The P40K units does not offer much of an advantage for regular use of a laptop.

actually the difference in price is due to the processor i3 vs i5 the rest halos pareho lang. if you're not into gaming ang video processing ok na yung mas mura but i really suggest hanap ka ng windows 8 na ang OS.

Toshiba Satellite L745 is the best between the two because it uses sandybridge processor and nvidia gpu. The i5 uses only an onboard GPU and a 1st gen processor that has 4 cores that you will not be able to utilize based on your needs .

Is your choice limited to toshiba? There are better options aside from toshiba.

If I were you get something that has Core i7 processor and windows 8 OS

So for that, I'll go with the first choice. Pero much better if you look more.

I'm satisfied naman with my Toshiba kasi 7 years din na laspag bago nasira.

I prefer Toshiba kasi I had a good experience with my previous Toshiba laptop. It took a lot of abuse from me and didn't give my problems until now (on its 7th or 8th year)

    Thanks everyone for replies!

I mainly use my laptop for browsing and I barely even use MS Office. Also, I carry my laptop around the house din lang . I wanted the backlit keyboard and aluminum body feature of the more expensive laptop. But it's not practical nga

Yup mahal sa Villman but they have good customer service kasi. I was a regular customer in their Rufino office but I have not been to Villman since I got my Toshiba laptop 7 or 8 years ago. I hope the service is just as good as before.

I'll go against the grain here and recommend you buy the more expensive model if you can spare the money.

it has an i5 processor with 4Gb RAM and Windows Home Premium compare to the other model na i3 only with 2Gb RAM and with Home Basic. even if i was only browsing and watching ****, i'd rather have the extra power and resources.
