Since I assume na Windows XP lang naman ang gagamitin mo, hindi na kailangan ng 4 GB or DDR RAM (unless you plan to use Vista Ultimate). 2 GB is more than enough for XP. 1 GB is already sufficient nga e.

Oh and tama si tambutsoo in saying that any P4 or Pentium D will get smoked by an Core 2 processor. P4 and PD have lousy architecture and malakas sila sa kuryente (unlike Core 2 processor na everything is 65 nanometers). Core 2 is really more worth it.

Temporary lang naman na gagamit sya ng onboard videocard until such time na makaipon na sya ng pambili sa magandang PCIe videocard. Kesa bumili sya ng videocard at pangit na motherboard, bibili na naman sya pag nag-upgrade. At least ito, puro paangat lang ang direction.

30k lang yung budget ni Bankai. Of course, sino ba ang may ayaw ng Core2 Duo or Quad Core. Wala pang pambili yung tao, bakit natin pipilitin. Kung maga-AMD sya, nasa product end of life na ang Socket 754 & 940. Ibig sabihin, PHASED OUT NA. Papalitan na yan. So ano, papalit na naman sya ng board? Gastos masyado. Tga PC Gilmore ka ba? ganyan din ginawa nila sa tito ko e. Napigilan ko lang. hehehe

Yung Intel630 na ginawa ko para sa pamangkin ko, hinihintay ko rin matunaw, hanggang ngayon, ok pa rin e. 2yrs na ata yon at wala pa rin syang problema.


Nilagay ko naman sa note ko na pwede nya i-adjust pa yung spec depende sa magkano nya gustong gastusin. Flexible naman yon. Baka di mo lang nabasa.



Bankai: basta pag bibili ka ng PC, sa PC Options, Gaisano at sa PC Klinik. PC Express, palpak warranty don. Sa PC Gilmore, wag dun, muntik na maloko ang tito ko don. puro phased out yung binigay sa kanya, binubuo na tapos pina-stop ko, nag-order ako ng mas matino na specs, wala daw silang stock nung mga gusto ko. Nung pinapacancel ko yung order biglang nagkaroon ng stocks ehehehehehe. Ayaw pa ng tito ko kasi nahihiya sabi ko di sya dapat mahiya sa mga mokong na yun, sya ang may pera e.

If you'll back read, almost all of us recommended Core2 Duo pero nagbigay na ang workable budget si sir Bankai.

Best Bang for the Buck Processor ngayon ang AMD X2.

im using intel core 2 duo e6600 and my wife Amd X2 4400 na pansin ko lang kaunti lang lamang ng intel core 2 duo pero sa price diyos ko po ang layo lamang ng AMD ngayon.super baba na ang price ng AMD (Dual Core) X2 .
Mas Stable performace (hindi po Hang ,BSOD or crush) ng Amd X2 compare sa Intel Core 2 duo when it come sa Video Editing ,rendering ,encoding and ect. parang more on speed ang intel while sa Amd torque naman.kapag loaded processor ng Intel C2D bumabagal na Sa Amd X2 Constant speed lang.When it comes to overclocking panalo ang Intel C2D aabot ng 50% while sa Amd X2 hirap na hirap maka abot ng 25%

kung ang Amd 940 ma phase out Intel G965RY will also be phase out wala naman future proof ngayon.ganyan po ang strategy nila every 2 yrs mag change. nasa roadmap ng intel naman yan.
Mag shift na sila sa 1333mhz den DDR3 na Kung lagi ka ganyan wala ka talaga mabili ni isang PC.Tapos panay Old model lang nabili mo.i suggest kung ano current best buy doon ka na.Total magagamit mo man din for 2 to 3 years yan.

prescott mabagal nga but i disagree na mainit at madali masira, itong P4 2.4 ko na office PC, 24/7 ang takbo nito lampas 2yrs na at walang problema kahit minsan.

Tama ka sir hindi nga mainit yang P4 2.4 prescott mo kaso ibang naman po ang story sa P4 3.0.kaya nga na phase out kaagad yan ng intel dahil Palpak and intel admit it

for 25-30K, mahirap mag Intel core2duo processor, your best bet would be an AMD dual core processor, mga +3600 pataas, get a decent motherboard and video plus RAM
