Bakit minsan ayaw kumapit ng lead dun sa wire na gusto kong i-solder? Is there something that I should put first para kumapit yung lead? Natunaw na yung plastic insulation sa kakahinang ko ayaw pa rin kumapit![]()

Maximum heat then “taktak” to remove the excees lead bago mo idikit ang lead sa tip ng tuluy-tuloy. You’ll see na bilog na bilog yan. Kung delicate yung parts, practice mo muna as iba…. Sanding the tip would also help.
Oh, most common mistake people make is heating up the solder (yung wire) then try to drip it over the components to be joint.
That's wrong and will result to cold solders.
The key is to heat the COMPONENTS just enough to melt the solder then join the pieces together.
You should preheat the wire until the solder melts into the wire. Don't have a glob of molten lead at the tip of your soldering iron/gun. Chances are it will not solder well.
Best way to do it is to "tin" both ends of the wire with a thin coat of soldering lead. To do this, simply heat the wire's end with the iron/gun and then touch the tip of your soldering lead to melt into the wire. After you got both ends "tinned", you can solder them together easier and with less mess.
merun pa...kung makapal ang wire (more than 16gauge yata) hindi ubra ang 30w na pen-type soldering iron.
kung iron coated ang wire kailangan mong iacid dip or yung solder paste.
kung varnished coated yung wire, kailangan mong lihahin muna.
kung solid wire na malaki as in nearly the size of "O" hindi ubra ang 30watts ng soldering pen....you need the soldering gun or a 45 or 60watts na soldering pen.
kung corroded na ang copper wire (green tarnish) you need to clean it muna - acid or sand paper or thinner ang mga possible options.
Dami palang do's and don't's ang soldering. Anyway, I was able to successfully solder the probe of my multitester already. I filed the soldering tip to make it clean. Pero medyo hirap pa rin dumikit dun sa new probes maybe because coated nga yung surface ng new probes.
Thanks pala sa lahat ng tips nyo ;)
this is a timely thread. been planning to make a vtec light for my ek for quite some time now and i'm told i need to do a little soldering along the way.
btw, baka ito maka-tulong ng konti: http://www.aaroncake.net/electronics/solder.htm
boybi,
try mo painitin ng husto ang newly filed tip ng soldering iron mo then idikit mo sa soldering lead...tunawin mo enough (di baleng matuluan) para magkaroon ng "silver" coat ang tip ng soldering iron.
mapapansin mo rin na merun brownish thing na maluluto...you need to remove this...use a small sponge with water (enough water to wet the sponge 90% level)...yun tip pagipinahid mo dito sa sponge with water ay mabilis luminis. those brown deposits kasi ang magpapahirap sa pagsolder.
dapat malinis lagi ang tip ng iron mo before you solder something... so every now and then you "dip" the tip dun sa sponge-water. Then lagi mo rin icoat with lead ang tip ng soldering iron mo.
gamitin mong tip yung long life di nililiha yun pinupunasan lang ng basahan o d kaya tissue
