B&O is the one that first introduced slim design, but IMO, for its price? It's not worth it.

Hello uli. Need some advise guys. Right now settled na ang mind ko sa Sony Wega KDF-55WF655 55" LCD RPHDTV with ATSC Tuner for my visual needs. Undecided pa rin ako sa HTS kasi wala talaga akong alam diyan. Kung HTIB, pwede na kaya yung Sony DAVFR10W 5-Disc HTS yan yung may wireless front to rear digital infrared audio transmission (2way main,2way center,2way rear speakers) para all sony together with my ps2. Or should I still go doon sa upgradable na set-up. Any recommendations?

Madali masira lamp nila.. mahal pa pag pina-replace! May recall nga sa model na yan eh.. I should know.. I handle tech support calls for sony video products eh..

Voltes V... IMHO regarding Audio for you HT...Bose and B & O just looks fantastically good but it wont deliver the sounds that you should have for its price. All of the newbie on this hobby is hooked by this brand because of its marketing and good looks...but after a while or after you've heard a real proper HT setup you will be amazed how many details regarding sound delivery are missing in your gears....besides you might even be dissapointed and buy a new one....
ICB... lupit na nyang setup mo...teka bakit Marantz 8400 over Denon 3805??

5Speed, nope Marantz SR8500 binili ko tsaka yung B&W Speakers. At first, I was not satisfied when I set it up, something lacking, but not when I changed the speaker cables and added a digital coax. Demmet ang mahal ng mga cables, but it's really really worth it! Very satisfied ;)
Kimps, mukhang ok na yan at that price.

Hehehe.. Mas ok if you use a digi optical cable.. kung may port.. it would give you an even better sound quality than coax...
...just my two cents

February 24th, 2005 10:56 AM #469i've haven't heard BO yet...pero BOSE oo, if that'ss my money HK+Monitor Audio pwedeng pwede na ako...
dito nga lang sa DTX ko solve na ako, actually nasa tenga lang talaga, kasi right now my very well broken-in DTX eh ka sound na siya ang Missions speaker na na-audition ko,
same sound for the fraction of the price...
as of this moment, im building a house and siyempre naka plano na rin ang entertainment area,
watcha think

Yup it has digital optical cable ports, but they said it's good for HT and digital coax is good for music. Since stereo mode pa lang ako, I opt to buy the digital coax, then once I completed my setup (speakers, subs, dvda/sacd), then I will add the digital coax, pwede naman switch between the two.
Thanks.
