We got a 32" Vizio LCD last year. It was only $800 at that time. Here in the Phils. 32" are more than 100K last year.

I heard Vizio now has more market share in U.S. than any other brand. If my info is correct.

as of Aug. 20, they are on top and hold 14.5% of the market according to CNET.

for $1000: premium brand 32-37" or Vizio 47" LCD

couple that with distribution to WAL-MART and K-MART.

Up ko lang po mga HT Guros

Anu na po ba ang latest Projection TV now adays na maganda? Say for 50"?

    TIA poh!

^mabilis magmura ang AVR....as long as the latest model is not a "must have" abangan mo ang mga sale ng previous model. i was able to score a Harman Kardon AVR for about $250 that way (sorry nakalimutan ko yung output).

if you're going for 50" the more practical alternative is plasma over LCD. ewan ko lang prices sa Pinas but some good inexpensive displays are the Vizios that we are talking about, LG, Panasonic (this last one is more expensive).

if you don't have to have a flat screen then look at the latest DLP's. my fave so far are the Toshibas, although i heard mas makakamura ka sa Samsung
