    just got an LCD and an upscaling DVD player. Kaso RCA cable lang kasama. San ba nakakabili ng murang HDMI or kahit composite at optical cable

    Sony sells for around 2k-4k (depending sa length ng kable na gusto mo). Apparently, these are of good quality.

    Of course if you want more, there's always MONSTER CABLE....pero I'm not sure kung talagang worth it na bumili ng mga ganung klaseng brand for TV cables.

    Speaking of which, meron nga bang mga HT receivers na may HDMI 1.3a??? I'm looking kasi for something neat for I want to experience Dolby TrueHD or DTS HD/MA when I get my PS3 (or at least 7.1 channel PCM audio).

    Anyone know any HDMI 1.3 receivers in the market?

    anybody have bought the SONY BRAVIA V series with the free bundled HT setup?

    parang maganda.....at mura (P89,000 less P25,000 kung cash or single payment purchase). P64,000 na lang bale with the Sony DVD player na multi-region and capable of reading pDVDs. This player have a built-in digital audio na 5.1 (passive sub-woofer) surround sound.

    also saw that model. not impressed with the picture quality when viewed side-by-side with a similarly priced samsung. nakaka impress lang yung P25,000 discount pero after breaking the total cost - for me it's not worth it.

    IMO - the best LCD TV in that pricing scheme is the samsung LA32R81B. current retail price is P64,900. got the best deal / options at western, trinoma:

    12-24 months to pay, 0% interest
    cash or straight card: less P3,000
    free 21" flat tv or home-theater-in-a-can (it sounds bad) or less P8,000 (not applicable for 24 months to pay)

    personally, the best deal is straight card (less P3K) & less P8K = P53900

    not bad!

    yung nakita ko na sony bravia was the v series na 32 inch LCD....picture was clear....but i did not compare it sa samsung model...hmm

    what further entice me to consider that bravia is the DVD player with HT worth another P24-25T...so a total package of nearly P50T actually yung "discount offer" nila.

    sa samsung, if im not mistaken, add 5K may HT na rin... so lumalabas 60k with HT na...18 month to pay plus with wall mount bracket... and to top it all ...7000:1 contrast ratio

    32v300 series, 60k, bought last week at western shang.. with sony htib, + free wireless headphone.. pareho so so performance, kaya nga free

    v300 vs v200? meron 1 button for cinema mode

    Hello, My current setup.

    Samsung 40" LCD TV
    Sony Upscaling DVD Player
    Sony 5.1 Amps & Speakers
    Xbox 360 (games & HD movies)
    DLink DSM-520 streaming media player (plays HD divx & standard divx movies)
    DLink Powerline (LAN via 240v Electrical Outlet), Wifi is not fast enough for HD movies.

    if you can afford to wait for LCD prices to drop again, save for at least a 40" LCDTV coz 32" LCDTVs are waaaay too small to be considered as a home theater setup.

    The thing with the samsung brand is, medyo naging allergic na ako sa products nila. Ang daling masira

    from Automatic Washing machines, DVD players, Cellphones, DVD drives, Harddissk, LCD monitors, RAM, i bought all of these. Ang daling nasira

    When it comes to LCDTVs, so far, I'd rather buy:

    Sony
    Sharp
    Panasonic
    Philips
