    Ah ok. Hmmm... ordinary lang xbox ko eh. 140k? Baka iba yung sinasabi ko, pero alam ko projector type din yun eh, yung mga nakikita ko kasi less than 60k, that was i think 1.5 years ago, pero 4:3 yung ratio nya, pero 41 inches ata. Ang sabi sa akin kasi nung kaibigan ko, mga 40k nalang daw yung ganun ngayon.

May idea ba kayo kung magkano ang mga locally available RPTV, mga around 40K ang mga 41 inches diba? Tsaka advisable ba gamitin ito for XBOX, yun naman kasi main reason ko in wanting to buy a bigger TV second reason is para mas masarap manuod ng champions league and third lang ang DVD viewing.
    RPTV user here... ours is a 57" Pioneer that we got on sale. it is still good after all these years.

    kung malapitan ang tingin mo, medyo grainy ang RPTV compared to LCD & Plasma. pero kung medyo malayo ka na - oks na din ang quality. lalo na yung mga Samsung!

    Replaced my old Mitsu 55" rptv with the latest Mitsu 65" (WD65731) DLP RPTV. The new DLP RPTVs have evolve over the years that the "burn-in" problem is not an issue anymore unlike Plasma. I used this set for 100% High Def viewing thru OTA HD programs, HD cable and DVD movies thru an upscaler player. Oh, I bought a 6ft HDMI for $35 if you know were to look.

    My plasma for regular TV/DTV/cable programs;

    My LCD for video games;

    cheers!

    Here abroad, plasma tvs are getting cheaper and cheaper. A 50 inch plasma tv nowadays costs almost the same as my 60 inch panasonic DLP which I bought just a year ago. Even the 70 and 80 inch tvs are more affordable now. If I only knew how to wait back then, pero happy pa rin ako sa system ko.

    Ang problema lang sa atin wala pang mga HD broadcasts kaya we still have to depend on our dvd players to get a clear picture on a big screen tv. For me I guess its more advisable to get a smaller CRT TV set if you just want to watch regular cable or play video games. But if your a movie buff like me, the bigger the screen, the better. Just have to invest on a good dvd player, good cables and 5.1 surround sound to really get that HT experience.

    Blu ray dvd and HD dvd players are still very much near or over the $1000 mark here in Canada and still have a lot of bugs in it. Its still better to wait a while for the prices of these goodies to go down and sort out the problems they have in their systems. I just hope I can still control myself from buying these toys.
