    good luck....hehehehe

if you can still squeeze some money, I say go for the HK

otherwise you cant go wrong with either Denon/Onkyo or Marantz.....

Kung Yamaha ang gusto mo, try to get the RX V-1500 or its higher version, it is very good in music na....totally different Yammie na ito....yun nga lang baka mas mahal pa kesa sa Denon 1705 or even 2105 yan....bago lang kasi na modelo....they change their design already and use a much better audio chipset.....

Apartment kasi namin may basement ngayon kaya naging interesado ako. Usually, yang gangyang kalinaw at kalaking screen, gagastos ka ng mahigit $10K May nakita akong site na DIY and may isa dun na gumagawa na ng case with the necessary kits for less than $500. Bili ka na lang ng LCD. Yung ginagamit pa nyang bulb is yung tipong ordinary 300+ watts na mala $20 lang (Hight pressure mercuy lamp or metal halide 400w. 3,5 A 230v 50hz from Rolux or osram hqi-t 400w n/si 3800º k).

    Eto yung specs nya:
Long trhow lens kit from Diylabs: 135 mm triplet lens, 2 fresnels 15,5" 330 mm focal lenght
    tft 17" lg1730s

In the topic of dvd reproduction and hddvd he have optimized the software player. I think he works with zoomplayer+ffdshow, with which you can apply filters that improve the final quality, very useful for dvd, less necessary in hddvd. His projectors don't have those filters so it is necessary to use those that it offers us the software from codecs or players.

Madali lang namang ikabit since merong kasamang insturction.

    Hi, me again...

So far, eto na tinitignan ko...what do you think???
    - Marantz sr4500 (P17,500), 7.1
    - Yamaha rx-V650 (P19,950), 7.1
    - Denon 1705 (P18K), 6.1

Medyo out of the equation muna yun HK AVR230 kasi masyado mahal...

I'd go for Marantz, bagong labas lang and it's getting good reviews ;) Bias lang ako kc binili ko Marantz hehehe. Not joking, very satisfied !!!

Anyway, try to audition those avr's and let your ears be the judge.

    denon too warm for me...

maestro, 7.1/6.1 actually are the same rear sounds you hear as 5.1 (except kung discrete ah) so parang na iistretch lang ang sound niya, good kung big ang space mo but kung nasa around 12-16 sq meters ang area ok na the most is 6.1
