I think a simple light with motion sensor would do. Merong readily available sa mga DIY Hardware ito. Maglagay ka lang sa buong perimeter ng bahay mo nga ganito ok na, basta maka detect ng motion, mag -ON yung mga ilaw, im sure this is enough to startle would be akyat bahay gangs. Kasi ang CCTV useless unless there is someone monitoring it 24/7. Kumbaga, after the crime mo na mapapakinabangan.

ang magandang home security yung motion sensor na pag meron na-detect may lalabas na machine gun o kaya laser gun--- kapow! yari yung magnanakaw. kaya lang delikado din kung ikaw yung uuwi. dapat meron kang dalang parang deactivation remote control

I remember a news report ages ago ... a homeowner was jailed for causing the death of a kid. The kid was electrocuted by a window grill which the homeowner purposely connected to the electrical mains. If you think about it, a window grill is well inside a person's property, unlike a fence which is along the perimeter.

Di naman nakadikit yung alambre sa bakod, it runs above it para pag sinampa yung pader, dun lang siya sasabit. Open yung bakod namin, grilles siya, kaya visually secure hindi siya pwede magtago sa harap ng bakod. Marami kasi dumadaan na sasakyan sa kalye namin kaya kelangan din. Yung damuhan sa harap ng bahay, medyo makapal na rin kaya mabuti nang nakikita kagad mula sa loob ng bahay.

I think the second best security measure is neighborhood watch. Kausapin niyo yung mga kapitbahay niyo and have an agreement na if you sense something is wrong, tawagan niyo kaagad. Nasa subdivision kami pero like I said madami dumadaan sa harap namin kaya mahirap talaga, and the homeowners association bulok din. Nilagyan ng gate yung ibang kalye, yung amin lang iniwang bukas para dumaan yung mga tao. Badtrip nga eh.

Yung sa akin I bought it at Rover systems at MC home Depot. Parang ADT din. I programmed it to call me if the alarm is triggered. I have door sensors sa lahat ng doors, motion detectors sa mga common areas (living room, 2nd floor hallway). ako lang nagkabit kasi wireless naman lahat. May backup battery din in case of a blackout.

Wala naman ako reklamo so far. Minsan kasi nakakalimutan ng helper namin i-disable pag papasok sya ng kitchen.

ito mukhang ok, how much kuha mo? so batt operated siya and wireless? ito siguro kailangan ko dahil ayaw ko maraming nakalabas na mga wires, kasi lahat ng wires dito nakabaon sa mga walls....sir, wala bang naka expose na wires?

Also consider putting thorny plants near the fence so people will have a hard time getting over it.

hindi bawal but if something happen esp kung namatay iyong tao get electric shock doun and problema aside pa is potential to get accident isa sa family mo paano kung makalimutan mo isolate ang power ... dahil iyan plagi ON/OFF iyan sa gabi ON mo power then kung alis kayo at wla tao sa bhay ON mo pa din eh paano kung one of your family nadikit doun sa fence ...

I think there is also an siren or an alarm for this type of system. So even if they cut off the phone line, the siren will sound off to scare the potential intruder.

I bought a similar system which I planned to install when I had my house built. Powermax ang brand niya but I bought it in the internet kasi laking mura niya compared to the local distributors. Mga P16K lang ata compared to P70k quote of the local distributor. I just had to find someone who travelled to the US to bring back my order.

May door contacts, motion sensors and wireless transmitters. Unfortunately, nasa box pa rin hanggang ngayon. OK naman ang security dito sa village namin so I did not think it was necessary to install it anymore. But maybe one of this days, if I have time, I will get to install them, finally. hehe.

It only takes a few minutes to find where the sound is comin from. Most people will ignore siren or alarm its like car siren no body cares about them.
