We bought our Panasonic inverter ref naman at Western appliances at Pasay road corner Ponce st. It's almost across Dusit. They offered thr lowest price kasi for the same model.

Yes. Western gives the bigger discount for cash payment. I also like that the store at Pasay road is not in a mall. No need to join the mall crowd and free parking

The Samsung 10.7 cu ft model is around 25k which I'm thinking of buying. RCBCBankard has a promo with Manila Imperial Sales Motor for 24 months no Interest kasi. Abenson's is also having a 24 month no interest..but only on select models.

Finally bought the Samsung 10.7 cu ft model yesterday mga 7pm, to be delivered today 21k flat cash kasi and free delivery dahil malapit lang ang store sa amin.

But before ko binayaran, yung sales rep sa electrolux na nagpush sa kanyang 11 cubic ft na non-frost ref but hindi inverter, na kung cash daw is 17k, tinanong ko if an ang energy efficiency rating dahil walang nakalagay...sabi nya...yung rating daw is gimmick lang daw at hindi totoo...so sabi ko bakit hindi na lang naglagay si Electrolux para me gimmick din siya....grabi naman yung sales talk nila....

Ano ang cheapest but durable 2-door inverter ref sa appliance stores ngayon? Kahapon lang nasira yung 15yrs old namin na ref, bigla na lang ayaw lumamig. Sabi ng nagcheck is palit freon daw.

A con about using a bottom freezer is you tend to forget or neglect meats at the bottom.

Been scouting for a brand new ref...

What should I consider....

1. Frost vs. Non-frost....

2. Single or Two Door....

3. Cubic Size.....

4. Brands......

5. Efficiency Rating for Power consumption....

Budget is around 20k....

1. No-frost para low-maintenance
2. 2-door para konti lang makawalang lamig everytime a door is opened
3. Depends on your needs, family size, etc.
4. LG for me... we have three no-frost units (2 conventional and 1 inverter)
5. Depends on your answer to #3 and whether it's a conventional or inverter type

My own family of 4 came from a 7 cu-ft conventional ref (Sanyo) which was a wedding gift to us almost 15 years ago. Just this year, we replaced it with a 15 cu-ft LG door-in-door model.

THIS is the exact model we bought from Ansons for about 32k. The 3rd door allows us to access frequently-used items without opening up the main door and lose too much cool air. Apart from it being an inverter, the 3rd door also helps lower consumption in the long run.



The old conventional 7 cu-ft unit starts its compressor at 150W and stabilizes to 90W. The new 15 cu-ft inverter model floats around 85-90W with the compressor at 'medium' speed and 250W during the short defrost cycle. Otherwise, my new inverter unit is twice as large as the old one but consumes roughly the same power.

visit ansons bro minsan wala sa website nila meron mga naka sale... i prefer lg inverters for ac and fridge. frenchy for under 40k is a good deal. huge capacity too

The nice thing about bottom freezers (15 cu ft) is that there are models with shelves and drawers ... top mounted freezers usually don't ... bottom freezers don't have lights ...

Got something like this ... inverter that can function on 150V-270V ... no need for AVR anymore ... most newer Samsung refs have this feature ...

And medyo madali daw bumigay inverter if you compare sa conventional no frost...

Matibay daw G.E. Example mga naondoy na nahabagat......Pinatuyo lang for few days.....Walang pinalitan....ayus pa din.

compressors operate at pressure. if nabaha do you think papasukin ng water ang compresor?

hvac basic design principle.. never put the controllers on the bottom.

also if your appliances get wet during a flood. dry them before using.

Nung ondoy and habagat kasi majority house lubog so tumatabingi ref and mag semi-float.... Doon madadale yung electronics.

Tapos kung may dadaan pa trucktora expect tidal wave..
