Ok lang naman sana yung FUP, kung inadvertise nila as it was, kaso lang eh inadvertise nila as "Unli LTE Surfing" kaya nakakainis. Kung sa umpisa palang pinaalam na nila agad sa consumer, ayos lang sana since the consumer made the decision to continue despite being advised of it.

Ayan ang problema with that "advancement" with internet connectivity. They offer faster speeds but compromising data usage, which doesn't make sense given the internet activities users have access to nowadays. It's not just there sa Pinas, look it up in google and see one company in the US with class action lawsuit due to "Fair Usage Policy'. I should know because I used to manage their outsourced technical support dyan sa Pinas at hirap na hirap talaga mga agents to explain it. I'm seeing the same thing happening here with Globe.![]()
Saka individual usage varies. Normal na ngayon na mag surf ng YouTube. Etc. ano expect nila pang email lang Ang internet? Ubos agad yan limit pag nag browse ka Sa YouTube. Saka DL and UP combine pa yata

Ung abs cbn na simcard ay nakasakay din sa globe network, and ang marketting ng abs cbn ay mag watch tayo ng mga shows nila online, just imagine kung paano na ang sharing ng available bandwidth para sa internet.
may naka experience na ba dito na globe user na nag throttle down? baka tulad lang ito ng smart (1.5GB) eh di naman pinatutupad.

Last time na nagtanong kami sa globe around may after makuha ung smart plan namin for compariso. Alam ko nasabi na sa akin na mag cap sila per day pero hindi nasabi ung per month.
bullcrap, naka cap ako first time kahapon. ung 2g nila di manlang makasend ng message sa viber. bwiset. time to change provider. subukan nila ako icap ng 3gb per month tablahan na ito.
Tapos na ung postpaid contract ko with globe, parang mas convjnient na mag prepaid na lan ako
Kausap ko customer service 97% daw naapektuhan ng heavy user. Tapos icacap pa nila ung 3%. Ogag na reasoning eh. Para daw fair sa iba. Eh ginagawa nila pang akit ng prepaid ang postpaid internet.
Pagnacap ako ng 3gb mamomroblema globe sa akin at may kausap na din ako atty. Hahahja

Kung retention ka na ang kaya tapos rebates para makatipid. Mas mura pa rin call rate nang naka-plan kesa prepaid. No worry pa na biglang mauubos load.
Mas okay pa rin naka-plan kung palagi naman ginagamit. Mas may free text and calls eh esp in the long run. Sa plan ko, kalahati na lang binabayaran ko kasi matagal na eh. Just make sure na every 2 years inquire ka retention promo/plans. Hindi na sila nagkukusa eh. hehe
Isa pang problem nang FUP is yung mga linta sa wifi. Saglit lang puno bandwidth mo niyan.![]()
I think SMART already implemented data capping and throttling.
For the longest time, I use their 3g service to watch sports livestreams. I can watch it with decent quality. Speed is faster than our office connection even if I am a prepaid user.
But this year, connection speed if crap. Yesterday, I cant even connect to google.
Since I my phone is prepaid, I am thinking of buying several SIM cards just to increase the cap.
