dapat less than 5km ang layo ng tinakbo ng wire from the PLDT's central switch in your area to the local switch near your house bago pwede kabitan ng DSL.

mahirap ilipat magisa yung antenna. meron kasing unique ID ang mga towers ng smart. kung hindi nagtugma dun sa account mo, hindi ka makalogin.

    Hi Guys,
Thanks for your update. You are right, Globe DSL is indeed not available in Las Pinas. I called up Globe Customer Service a few minutes ago and they said that Globelines does not have have a franchise here in Las Pinas.

Based on your reply, us Las Pineros only have PLDT DSL, Destiny Cable Internet and Las Pinas Cable internet if we want a high speed internet connection? Does anybody know the rates of Destiny and Las Pinas Cable? I am hesitant on getting PLDT myDSL because I heard / read a lot of bad experience especially in the area of customer support.

Any feedback on Destiny and Las Pinas Cable?

I am using Las Pinas Cable for my cable and their lines are not clean as I get a lot of hazy channels. Since the fees are cheap compared to the other cables I don't complain. But if I am getting a internet cable, I want to get my money's worth. I am doing my research up front and not regret getting the connection after I get my plan and I am stuck with it.

    Thanks a lot guys.

taga lpc din ako, more than 2 yrs na dsl namin. nun lumabas yun ad nila na meron na dsl dito apply agad kami within 5 days nagkaDSL kami. ok naman yun speed mabilis nga, kaya lang bagal talaga ng support nila pag nagkakaproblema kami sa connection tagal ng aksyon dapat makulit ka mag follow-up. madalas after midnight napuputol yun connection ko kakainis magreconnect mayat-maya.

Greenlight. taga Talon 5 near SM southmall me.
I have PLDT DSL unlimited for the past three years, Before they installed DSL, they will check first if your line is clear ( meaning not grounded). Once Okay, you pay at their PLDT Las Pinas branch, then schedule the installation.
Generally, okay naman ang performance mabilis ang connection. the good thing with DSL even when your using the internet you still use the telephone lines. The only problem we have is during rainy days if the telephone line are grounded, it take time to service it. To have refund/rebate on your monthly payment, you should immediately call their service center to record date of interrruption.

Follow-up mo na lang sa PLDT Las Pinas if you have your application, I believe they are opening new telephone lines along Marcos Alvarez Ave. Hope you are within this vicinity.

i used to have MyDSL Pro sa Talon 4 ako. Took them only 2 weeks to install it after application. Pina disconnect ko last September kasi pa renovate ako ng house and i temporarily moved out. papa reconnect ko na next week since babalik na ko. 2 days lang daw sabi sa PLDT.

anyways, in terms of speed ok naman sya. nakakatapos ako ng isang episode ng tv series in about 2 hours. reliability is another issue, may weeks na ok may weeks na puro disconnect. dati almost 3 days down and naging suspect ko pa tuloy yung router ko na sira, talaga palang on and off yung connection nila.

support sucks though. pag may problem, pasahan sila, kung anu-anong number binibigay sa akin. and of course since yung 1st level support is call center, naka-script yung response. nakaka asar for someone like me na 12 years na sa IT kasi sisimulan nila yung pag diagnose na tatanong sa akin kung naka on daw ba yung modem, etc, etc...
