Get N95 now or wait 4months for E90

retention plan ba kamo? good luck ibigay syo yan ng smart agad, yung 4 onths na sinasabi aabutin ng 6-8 months yan. sa akin nga pinakamurang phone na lang 2 bese pa nila akong pinagintay ng matagal, had to resort to using my connections in smart pa.

di ako nasatisfy ng N95. i bought one last april 2007. naghahang (as in mabagal). di pa gumagana wi-fi. sa inis ko pinalitan ko ng E90 which i bought last July 2007 lang. mas ok talaga ang e90. til now la pako naging problem sa kanya. kahit nasa labas ako nachecheck ko na emails ko. yun nga lang walang SB sa cel hehehe....i can only view threads pero di ako makajoin sa SB using my E90.

kung ako, i'll get the n95 now kung no money out, sell it asap, then buy an e90 sa labas na lang. for sure the e90 will be in demand and they will prioritized those who have connections inside or those who are going to buy it, last palagi syempre yung free sa plan, baka by the time you get it may e91 or e9++ na.

my first retention plan waited 3 months for it, the second retention plan, one month waitng. both times walang feed back, didn't want to bother my friend but kakainis sila. sa sun 30 mins waiting lang, kasi ayos nila papeles. release agad fone, cheap fone but hey i only have plan 350 sa sun.

but N95 is only 30k on the market. The E90 here in KSA is 55k in pesos. Tax-free pa yun, im not sure how much it'll end up there in Phils though.

i agree! bilis nga irelease sa sun as in bigay agad sau yung fone. AFAIK ang price ng N95 ngaun sa mall is 24k and yung E90 sa greenhills is 46k...not sure how much sa mall.

hintayin mo yung e90 tapos kapag meron na check out mo yung actual features ng phone tapos kapag hindi mo nagustuhan, yung n95 na lang ang kunin mo, why? kasi by the time then bumababa na ang presyo ng n95. eitherway panalo ka.. pumapasok lang ang patience sa decision mo na ito.

44k lang nga ang bigay sa akin 2 months ago sa GH, it comes with 1 year warranty from nokia mismo, I think wala sa gray market, yun mga nagtitinda sa GH sa nokia rin nila mismo kinukuha ang mga stocks nila...

but opted instead for the e61i, ang laki pa kasi idagdag ko sa trade in 30k+ pa so intayin ko na lang bumababa price then trade in ulit...

got an e90 a month ago in GH ... i just love it... IM+ / Fring are my recommended apps for it. I use the Blackberry function for it as well. I don't need to bring my laptop with me as much anymore.

actually i have a friend in GH. 43 lang bigay nya sken ng E90 with 1 yr warranty. ang alam ko yung 46k na sinasabi comes with a 1 yr warranty also.

You said your n95's wifi doesn't work? I configured three N95s in the office and home wifi (about 2-3mins each) and all worked well. it pretty much has the same settings as the E90.

Sa akin din, ayaw

Everytime I try to connect to the home WiFi, I get the Invalid WPA pre-shared key message. I've had no trouble connecting the other devices - 2 desktops, 2 laptops and a PDA - using the same network key. Any idea what else should I look into?

Let me get back to you about that, wala kasing Wifi dito sa office ko (imagine, im in a russian company tapos they dont implement wifi). Dun sa other office ko (filipino owned), meron. Dun lang ako nakakapag-wifi.

But, as far as i remember, i encountered that too, pero it seems, iba ang software nung ginagamit ko (like you said, iba yung sa GPS), there's a submenu pa that i went into before i got connected successfully.

You can also try configuring your router to open, before you make any security settings.
