i've always had this fetish for flashlights. Nung bata pa kaming magpinsan, pag daan sa department store, waterproof flashlight ang hinahanap, sa swimming pool lang pala gagamitin :D

Even now i browse through Nokia's phone list for the cheap ones that have a built-in flashlight. One of the first apps i downloaded? flashlight app. i even bought the ones you strap to your head, as if :D

Naku, ako din... flashlights and Eneloop batteries. :D

Except for the Maglite which uses 3x D batteries, all use 2x AA batteries.

Eneloops ko na AA mahigit dalawang dosena na. I've lost count. :D

Gaano kalayo yung "malayo"?

Not an expert, but sa observation ko, LED lights don't really reach that far. i think those with the halogen or krypton bulbs throw light the farthest.

Do you intend to use it for signalling sir? i just saw this Modern Marvels documentary(Survial Technology) about handheld eye-safe lasers. no idea if they can double as flashlights though

ung fluorescent ko na T5 pinalitan ko ng LED T5. it didn't reach that far nga sir compared sa fluorescent..... high ceiling kasi.

depends on what you want iba iba kasi klasi ng flashlight. meron malayo ang throw ng beam niya meron naman wide ang beam pero di gaano malayo. anyway if you want quality flashlights streamlight, surefire, fenix, klarus and nitecore are some of them yon nga lang medjo may kamahalan. you get what you pay for though, di ako bibili ng mumurahin flashlight if i want a quality light that will last a life time and will take a beating from anything. punta ka goinggear.com para makita mo kung ano magaganda flashlights pati may video reviews din sila don.

try sulit.com. planning to get my gf a high lumen tactical light dun sa isang seller from pasig.

got me a 400-600 lumen nightcore led flashlight. panilaw ng mga nanahol na aso, pang spot sa bakuran, non lethal self defense piece (panilaw). got me an MRE as well pero nasa outdoor stash ko sa bahay. some mre viands don't taste well. i'd go get a tetrapack sealed goldilocks ulam. anytime.

MRE? may ingredient yan that prevents you from having normal bowel movement. Like hindi ka eebak ng at least 2 days. Why? Coz if you don't have the time to cook a hot meal then you also do not have the time to answer nature. Like when you're in the thick of a military offensive, duh! Di ako naniwala nung sinabi yan sa akin ng friend ko na USN sea bee. So he gave me some. Ayun nga, walang visit to the throne for a couple of days, at nung tinawag na ako ng hari e kay tigas naman e, had to down a liter of water to push it hahaha!

Maganda rin yung Coast na LED type. Malapit at malayo kaya, ikaw mamimili kung anong lumens gusto mo.

Double purpose, pwede rin for tactical use, panilaw kung may pumasok sa bakuran.
