john, antayin mo na lang yung updated version ng Olympus ultra zoom, baka Q3 or Q4 lalabas.
Im beginning to have second thoughts myself on getting a camera now. Maybe i'll just wait for the 6MP Canon (assuming theyre gonna add more features to the IXUS line like the bigger lcd screen).
Ang daming conflicting reviews dun sa current camera ko e (Olympus C50Zoom). Dunno whether to keep it or what.
I've had a digicam with a 10x zoom before... yup, its a blast!!!
peeps, any Konica Digital Revio KD300/400/500z owners there? i've been hearing good things about it...medyo kulang sa manual controls, pero other than that, maganda ung reviews
the C-770 is superior in many ways to the C-60 if you don't need an ultra-compact camera. if you don't and you need more than 4 MP, you'll be much better served with a top-end prosumer like the much-heralded C-5050Z
I just bought a Kodak 6490 from CompUSA that came with a free Lexar 128 SD card for 468.00 including a protection plan and payable in 12 months at 0% interest.
I liked the camera so much with its 4.0MP res., 10X optical and other good features. It maybe categorized a novice's camera but it is so flexible that an advanced user may use it too. It was this and a Minolta Z2 that I had a hard time deciding....
PM me if you want to see sample pix.....

doc, what made you to decide on 6490 over the Z2? pinagpipilian ko din sila.TIA.
Guys, I'm looking for a premium point and shoot camera right now.
Just went to Nara on a day trip and all I had was a pathetic 4.3 Megapixel cellphone camera. I've entertained the idea of buying a micro 4/3 thirds for a while but even those little high end cameras are too bulky as I like to travel light.
I'm choosing between Lumix DMC-LX5 and Canon Powershot s95.
both cameras just came out this month where I'm at.
Which do you guys think is the better camera?
and if there are better offering from other makers please suggest (budget is around $400 to $600, no LEICAs they are damn expensive).
