As far as I can remember, this is the best in a long, long time as far as CPU choices go. My youngest kid has had her A10-7850k DIY for a while now. But, it's not quite optimal for more intensive 1080p gaming. I'm thinking of replacing it with a low-cost Ryzen 3/AM4/DDR4 combo. Her R9 390 is still adequate for the games she play.

That would be reserved for me. ....assuming I'm already tired of my i5-8600.

Just put together a Ryzen 3, B450M mobo, with 8 GB RAM desktop for the wife's home office.
Cost us around 26k with a 19" monitor, and UPS.

The micro ATX case looks sleek with tempered glass sides but real tight for putting in 3.5" HDDs.
Had to bend the power and SATA cables more than I'm comfortable with.

Haven't tried testing it's Vega 8 graphics capabilities though... baka mapagalitan pa pag may nasira, hehe.

Didn't know some DVI-D ports do not support D-SUB (VGA) connection even with a DVI-D to VGA adapter.

question... yung staff ba sa office nyo naka desktop pa din? if yes, why? (cost? old equipment na gumagana pa naman? tamad ang IT?)

sa amin kasi, starting the pandemic, pinalitan ng laptop ang gamit ng lahat ng staff (pati receptionist)

then when we went back to the office... nag issue sila ng 27 inch monitor for all the staff.

90% laptop na in the office. Only staff that are in the office full-time have micro PCs.

    i use a desktop.
the screen is bigger than most laptops' , and the keyboard is standard full-size that i can position on the table any way i want.
for some reason, my hands are not comfortable, typing on a laptop keyboard.

about the only reason i might want a laptop, is because i can bring it with me.
