If your preference is AMD, get at least a Ryzen 5 or 7 if your budget permits. Make sure you get the 2nd gen Ryzens as they are much faster than the 1st gen.

Get at least 16GB of RAM.

Graphics card can be a GeForce GTX 1050 or 1050Ti.

Definitely get the biggest SSD you can afford. Make sure it’s NVMe and not SATA and that your motherboard can make full use of it’s speed. Then pair it with at least 1TB har disk drive for storage of your work.

Finally, don’t skimp on your power supply. I’ve seen people build amazing rigs only to be wrecked by a low quality PSU.
