    Try an adblocker app. I've been using mi phones for a while as secondary phone. adblock and and a PiHole setup as DNS blocks most of the ads.
    tsikot is ad free.

    last week march or 1st week abril pumunta ako mall kasama seniors. Tapos may nadaanan ako mi store so pasok to inquire magkano repair umangat lcd at madali malowbatt nagrerestart pag nuod video / videocall. Sabi nung taga xiaomi ang repair nila sa greenhills sa citylight at matagal daw doon dinidiscourage ako sabay kuha ng smartphone nya to call technician may kilala daw sya matatapos agad. Eh im a behaviorist so sige tingnan ko.

    Pag lapit ng technician itinuro ako sa kiosk nya tapos iniexplain ko sira. Ang sabi nya 99% battery daw. Ang price is 1,500. Sabi ko balik na lang ako.

    Few days after may nakachat ako singlemom na nagpapalit ng battery sa kakilala nya 1thou daw. So nagkakaidea ako sa pricing.

    Naalala ko.taga trueQC ako. So pinuntahan ko friend ko mahilig magcheck sa facebook groups. Ayun may nakita
    = cellphone repair presyong quiapo free home service in these barangays

    Cost = 850.

    Kami pa pinuntahan.

    you didn't say what your phone model is.
    but a quick google yielded battery prices from 200 to less than 500 bucks.

    my wife just grabbed a Realme C30 as it was the cheapest available phone sa cheapest available plan ng SMART.
    (I think she just added 500 pesos)

    I found a FB seller who offers the same phone at 4.9K (kaya pasok sya sa 5K requirement)

    No 5G, 6.5inch 720p screen

    Biggest surprise for me was the performance of this phone while running Android 11 Go (with the latest security updates)

    It's very usable compared to Samsung A03 and A13

    We're only using the phone for calls and sms and big plus that its using Google's Phone and Messages App.

    IMO, biggest drawback for me is that it uses a micro-USB cable

    it's realme's entry level phone. but what strange is it still uses micro usb port. all phones nowadays uses type c port.
