Ano ba talaga nakukuha nyo na download speed????
Kasi sa aking P 999 package na sabi ng PLDT ngaun e upgraded na to 512 Kilobits per second e nakaka download naman ako ng upto 40 Kilobytes per second...
From research 512Kilobits per second is equivalent to 64 kilobytes per second... sabi ng PLDT 60-80% utilization so 38-51 kilobytes per second dapat ang download speed.
Pero meron akong kaibigan bagong kabit ng DSL na P 999 package 100 Kilobytes per second palagi ang download speed...
Tingin ko swertihin lang talaga depende sa layo mo sa PLDT switch/station at pati na rin kung nasa old gen network o new gen network ka ng PLDT...

as of 2am today, im downloading a 30mb movie, between 60 to 70kbps download speed

i agree na mabagal talaga customer service ng pldt..
right now, i'm getting an average of 350kbps on plan 999.. tested on pldt play..

August 25th, 2006 08:06 AM #36nag-apply ako sa pldt ng dsl... sagot ng kausap ko, di daw capable copper line namin, at kinabitan kami ng smart wifi... plan 1995.
then last month, nilagyan naman ako ng dsl thru our landline, at ang sabi ng installer, pioneer daw ako sa area namin regarding pldt-dsl NGN
since then, mas reliable na speed...

dipende rin naman ata bro minsan dun sa source nung pinag dodownloadan mo ehh! kahit mabilis nga internet mo ehh ehh naka dial-up lang ung pingag dodownloadan mo!
ako naka plan 2000 minsan speed ko sa limewire nasa 50-60 minsan naman 80-90! tas ilang beses narin nangyari sakin nung nag download ako ng isang full movie eh ang speed ko steady 200kbps sa limewire!

yung sa bilis ng download alam nyo ba yung source na "ethernet" ang speed ko dyan 120-140kbps pero ang plan ko 788 lng smart wi-fi yng pinaka una pa nila pero mag normal na source around 25-30kbps gusto ko na nga mag upgrade eh yng 999 kaso ala pera :D

Had connection problems too with PLDTMyDSL for about 3 weeks already. They do call and sometime like magic, connection goes up for a day or two then gone again! &%$Q*(#&$%(#%$#%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :fire: :fire: :fire:

I tested my (cable broadband) connection out of curiosity. PLDT is still the slowest. Why? I'm not sure. Deliberate shackling of bandwidth, maybe?
2Wire= 6.38 Mbps/ 10 minutes later 6.88 Mbps
Globe= 1716.16 kbps
Bayantel= 834.21 kbps
PLDT= 769.9 kbps
DigitelOne= (4th lapse) 35178 kbits/sec
GreenDot= 1718 kbit/sec
Bell Telecoms= 155.2875 K/sec, 1242.3 kbps, 0.15 Mb/sec, 1.21 mbps
No go for Eastern Telecoms. Firefox's blocking it.
