C#Ard, swerte mo, hehe. depende talaga sa location yung quality ng signal.
yep, nag-upgrade nga ng systems ang smart. although hindi pa rin wimax, kasi ang totoong wimax di kailangan na line of sight ang antenna, dapat yung parang sa wifi router. yung kinakabit nila na canopy kelangan naka-tutok dun sa base station para gumana. Sa web nakakita pa ako ng dish na ikinakabit para lumakas yung receiver hehe.
mejo hindi ako satisfied sa smart bro. nakatatlong palit na ng base station yung account ko, nag-ddown pa rin (QC area). everytime may pumupuntang service crew para iharap yung antenna sa bagong base station. malas lang talaga...
hindi din ako maka-apply sa pldt dsl dahil may waiting list pa. yung bayantel naman ala pa daw facility sa lugar namin. kaya no choice talaga, smart bro na lang. i'm hoping ma-implement na ang wimax dito sa atin asap....

yung mga mababagal ang connection, may SLA ba kayo nung pinirmahan nyo yung application or contract of service?
lam ko kasi pwede i convert yan as credits eh.

August 24th, 2006 09:45 AM #13been using mydsl plan 3000 at home for 4 yrs na ata. barring phone cable theft (P$#%^^!!! magnanakaw yan!! ) very stable connection ko.
speakeasy speed test results below using seattle server.
Download Speed: 1441 kbps (180.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

bihira na magka problema pldt mydsl ko pero noong first few months ko ang dalas ma disconnect...
may kilala akong Netopia computer shop owner...3 araw nawala pldt mydsl nila...eh di ang baba ng sales dahil majority ng clients ng netopia eh internet users...ayun nag shift na sa globe

Mga kapatid kahit may lock-in period kayo sa PLDT pwede nyo ipa-disconnect. I did that with my SmartBRO. I sent PLDT/Smart a letter stating my discontentment of their service and I want the service to be disconnected. Wala sila nagawa. Di nila ako siningil ng fee.

one of the reasons why palit kami sa bayantel! walang kwenta pldt-dsl! mabilis lang pag singilan..
2-years experience, lost 95% of my regular customers sa shop!

hmm nung nasa RCBC pa wife ko, bayantel ang gamit nila grabe mag down, minsan past 12am na uwi nila dahil down buong gabi di sila makakatapos sa trabaho.

ok medyo bumilis na speed ng dsl ko ngaun pero konte lang hinde pa bumabalik ung dating speed Bandwidth Test Results : 105.90 kbps ka tetest ko lang ngaun sa pldtplat.com! Tumawag ako ulit sa pldt ngaun eh ang sabi sakin may problema daw dito sa area namin hinde lang daw ung akin bumagal pero inaayos na daw nila!

suggestion lang po. doon sa mga napuputol yung connection using a wired connection. better get a connection that uses a fix ip address rather than an ip supplied by dhcp. sa mga walang know how sa ip, just tell your isp that you need a static ip and not the dynamic.
i noticed this using zpdee (skycable). me connection naman pero walang ip address na binibigay yung modem sa laptop. so i kept on renewing the ip address and finally i got one. ang ginawa ko kinopya ko yung ip na na assign sa laptop ko then enter it sa network properties ng win xp as static ip (including subnet mask, default gateway, wins, dns). yun, never na nag down yung connection. hindi na sya intermittent.
