We've been using Panasonic for years now and so far wala naman ganyan na problem although a static sound was emitting before but we traced that to one of our power tools when it was turned on.

Have you tried changing channels in your cordless phone? It could be that the default frequency that you're using is near the freq of your cellphone or the harmonic frequency of any of the appliances in your house.

Also, if you have the money, buy a cordless phone that employs the frequency hopping technology (spread spectrum). The signal on this phone should be very clear as the frequencies being used by the base and the cordless phone jumps(in sync) from one range to another over a given period of time (usually in ms). This was a military application that has been declassified and commercialized some years ago.

Typically, these are the cordless phones with freq in the GHz range. Go check out the features, though.

    Good luck.
