Well, I have a globe and a sun cellphone.
My globe unit is a Nokia N80 while my sun goes though a Nokia 2626.
ang backup phone ko eh yung sa 2 anak ko na elementary kung kailangan ko anytime pwede kong hiramin di pa gaanong nag te-text eh puro smart lahat prepaid... madalas kung me ite-text sila ipa-pasa load lang
For OFW's like me, most of the time we have two phones. One local and one roaming.
Local - O2 Xda II mini
Roaming - Nokia 6310i
Napansin ko na din kasi dito sa Pilipinas madami na din 2 ang phone... kaya na encourage akong magkaroon ng 2nd phone. Sana magkaroon ng mga better deal this coming season. I'm looking into the RIZR Z3 as my back up phone.
^*chua riwap -- I am having trouble carrying two phones when I am walking about. I wonder how you deal with three phones?![]()
yup, got 2 back up phones, 1 SE for my globe, and 1 Nokia for my SunCell
Yes,
Company phone is Globe, Nokia...
Personal phone is Smart, Ericsson...

no back up phone. business and personal isa lang, then charge sa opis lahat.![]()
Yup. I do. Kelangan yan. Globe talaga ako. and yung backup ko is smart. Since backup nga lang e nasa P3,000 lang halaga. Ok na yun for me.
yung globe ko, sony ericsson k800i.. yung sa sun, nokia 2310 yata yun.. basta yung libre sa postpaid ng sun na plan 350.. kinuha ko kasi ang nanay ko ng postpaid plan tapos akin yung free cellphone..
I've been reading and most of the reason for backup phone is due to area coverage. Has anyone thought of having a backup phone due to reason of having lowbat? I myself is an extensive feature user of my phone and i can drain the charge in 8-hr period. Just figured out maybe what I need is a backup battery, not a phone, hehehe
Ako primary SEk810i (Globe plan), backup/business line is samsung u700 (sun plan).. Kaya 2 phones ko kasi laging walang signal ang sun, pag umaaraw lang hehehe.Tsaka iba convenience ng 2 phone, pag lowbat/no signal yung isa may backup ka pa and vice versa
Yes, I have two phones. Yung pangalawa, dedicated sa Sun. Primary phone is globe. Di ko na ilalagay ang models dahil I'm partial to the most basic models (read: chipipay lang, both Nokia), pang-call and text lang. The 2nd phone is not really a "back up" because my primary phone is always charged. I get a lot of text and call inquiries from litigants, pulis na humihingi ng advice, etc. and so I keep a "public" number (Globe). I crave some privacy and reprieve from the daily assault of SMS & voice calls, kaya meron akong Sun number na iilang tao lang ang nakaka-alam. Erratic rin kasi ang signal ng Sun. There are many places in my province na walang signal ang Sun or sobrang hina, tapos madalas ma-cut off (there should be a separate thread for Sun users...dami problema), kaya kelangan ko yung Globe na generally, reliable ang signal at madaling kargahan ng load.
