Something Converge non-believers overlooked.
Yung 5mpbs plan namin na PLDT ay usually 2.8mbps lang binibigay. SO subscribe kami sa local ISP na 25mbps na at least 20mbps sa speedtest.
Then suddenly si PLDT namin (yes we reained it) naging full 5mbps na.
Kaso ang siste, yung local ISP namin, ni-take over ng isa pang local ISP na mas malaki. Ayon mejo pumangit ng konti ang quality pero mabilis pa din sa download download.
Kung may linya lang ng Converge sa amin nun, yun sana papakabit ko. Kaso wala pa daw sabi nung ahente na ni-contact ko.
Converge's Basic Plan 1500 supposedly capped at 25Mbps.

Although I don't think 155 mbps is the double of 25 mbps subscription. Baka yan higher plan na assign kay sir.

35 Mbps na yata minimum nila now and look at his upload tama naman siguro nga sa DL nakalusot but hey a good problem. Ganyan converge. [emoji1363]
Huwag kayo maniwala kay cath, frustrated lang talaga yan sa DSL niya kaya binubuhis yun galit sa converge.

Pag masaya ako sa tao or service or whatever it may be, I really express it. So far I am happy with PLDT and I am super proud na hindi ako na convince ng friends ko mag switch sa converge na ngayon nagsisisi kasi sa una lang maganda
Partida pa yan, DSL lang ako pero NEVER ako nagka issue sa WFH ko, e mga officemate ko parati may problema sa connection. Paano pa pag nag PLDT Fiber pa ko![]()
To summarize - so far pulos positive naging experience ko with Converge ICT. Halos sabay ako nag-apply sa PLDT at Converge late November last year pero with the latter wala pang two weeks nakabitan na ako. Etong PLDT after a month pa yata nag-inform na wala pa raw sila linya available dito sa area namin sa Marikina. Funny since dun pa lang sa online application may test na sila kung included na area namin sa coverage. Di ka makakapag-proceed kung di pa kayo covered.
Well, may internet na ako kaya di na ako nakipagtalo pa. Then once in a while may tatawag sa akin from PLDT with regards my application to check kung nakabitan na raw ba ako. Like last week lang may tumawag na naman. Do they mean since November eh hihintayin ko application ko sa kanila hanggang ngayon? Masochist lang?
Anyway, since nakabitan ako last December, siguro twice lang kami nagkaroon ng service outage kay Converge. Then average speed ko had been at around 50mbps upload/ 35mbps download. Madalas nga kasi silang may upgrade offer or free trial. Yung 25mbps plan ko is now upgraded to 35mbps default speed at still the same 1,500/month. Nagkaroon sila dati ng offer na upgrade to 45mbps for additional 100 pesos at eto ngang "Time of Day" lately. Wala pa nga lang akong pinatulan since yung 25mbps for me eh sufficient na for my needs. Netflix lang naman ang medyo nangangailangan ng high speed connection at sa 25mbps eh wala namang nagiging lag. Pero dahil lagi ngang may mga trial runs, I get to benefit with the speed upgrades free of charge.![]()

5 friends shifted to Converge's time of night plan. PLDT Fibr (cavte) had issues in the evening and their ping times were really bad. Their games tonight looked really good.
Does Converge have a hotline I can call and an actual CSR I can talk to?
Have been following up via email on my disconnection for several weeks now. After the first acknowledgment email, no more feedback. I still got billed for May 2021 even if I haven’t used the service since mid-April.

Recently had a visit for an "upgrade". Quick response according to my brother.
Extended till end of the month yung free trial upgrade. Kaso yung plan P1599 ko laging nasa 25-35mbps lang palagi till now. Never ko na experience yung speed boost. Baka pwede patulong bro Shadow, Kahit itong last remaking week lang hehe.
Do you have your own router or do you use the default modem? Nangyari sa akin yan before. Had the old modem tapos naka mesh router. Nag avail ako ng free plus 10 so from 35 dapat 45 pero ayaw magreflect sa speedtest. Tinawag ko then sabi naman approved na ako and all. Nagrequest pa nga ang CS na kumabit ako directly sa modem either via lan or wifi. Nung ginawa ko, nasa 45 na pala nga ako. Pero pagbalik ko sa mesh, even after a reboot, yung routers ko mababa pa din ang buga. So I opted to reset the mesh routers. After that ok na. Pati itong promo ng speed boost nila naramdaman ko din agad. I still get rougly 220 up and down during the day and 110 up and down during the night
Yup I’m using my own router. I actually just bought a new one a few days ago but speed is till the same. I tried din kanina yung ginawa mo na directly connected to modem via lan but ganun din speed. Messaged Converge na lang & they gave me a ticket. Hopefully they can fix it before the free trial expires hehe
