Yung pang-personal ko di na ako nagsi-save.. Di ko na nga ina-access yung 1TB ko more than 10 years ago na..
Dati mahilig pa ako mag capture ng photos and videos..
Tapos if need ng evidence, meron babalikan..

Kaya napaisip tuloy ako, if internet connection is not a problem, do you still need to have an external hard drive handy? Just browsed for external hard drives and meron na rin pala ngayon portable ssd hard drives.

Cost of annual "cloud" service will also be same as buying an external SSD drive ... avoid backing up copyrighted materials ... could come back to haunt you ...

Use cloud to backup legit files, external ssd for "others". [emoji16]

Same here, only I didn't burn them to DVD, I bought pirated ones, finally I decided it was taking so much space I gave them out but still retained some. But then madami pa rin talaga naiwan so I took them out and shrink wrapped them and threw their cases. Fast forward last year, the DVDs as long as kitchen towel rolls, I threw them all out. I still have a few originals and 1 beautifully styled case from dimensione. Who knows, I might throw it later too.

As for videos on HDDs, I also had my time. I really had a lot even unwatched ones. After several years, I realized I may get them online anytime at better resolutions and smaller files, so delete ulit.

Now I keep only family pic and videos, important files in a small USB stick 32 Gb.

    Eh yung NAS hdd kaya?

I bought this last year. 2TB is not enough for a family of 4, especially for me who likes to download.screenshot_20220913-042544_1_1_1.jpg

4-6TB WD hdds about 7-8k if converted to pesos.
A 4-bay NAS about 10-12k. Depending on the RAID level - you can get up to 24TB of usable space.

Which printer would you recommend? Epson L3250 or Canon G3010 both are ink tanks with wifi and price is about the same. I did not include HP Ink Tank 415 since someone told me the print cartridge of HP is no good.

Can I ask for help? A PC build for my daughter, ₱50k for CPU build lang. She plays games. Arc Survival Evolved daw nilalaro nya.

Hindi ko alam mga latest sa desktop, last time I built a PC was 2 decades ago. [emoji23]

Balak naman magpa build sa PCX with 50k budget. Dun na lang kami mamimili.

Any tips? Like brands and models to choose? Or Sana kung may ma suggest kayo build to target? Thanks.

Here's some good bedside reading to get you started. Logical Increments

There's a table there that gives the relative performance vs cost. It'll be up to you if you want to use the parts as listed to adjust it according to your budget and/or part availability.

Okay.... anyway I decided to buy HP Ink Tank because it is much cheaper compared to Epson or Canon. I was told that I should use it at least once a week to avoid clogging of print head cartridge.

Pls provide feedback after some time. I was also in Megamall yesterday checking out printers. Currently torn between Canon G3010 and Brother DCP-T520W.

I stay away from Brother. But Canon seems good if you are printing more on photos. Actually that is my first choice Canon G3010 print out much more sharp and lively. By far my HP Ink Tank is working fine I just need to clean the print head from time to time.

Why sir? Did you have any prior bad experience with Brother? How long pala is the warranty of Canon?

Yes I ask our IT because in the office they have all 4 brands and Brother is no good according to them something to to with the small print head. Warranty for both Canon and Epson is 2yrs I did ask Electroworld when I bought my HP Ink Tank.
