A few of the disadvantages of using cheap inks:
- colors not as accurate as orginal inks
- colors fade. (original inks tend to be fade resistant)

Sabi nga. You get what you pay for.

Original inks, good quality but a pair cost almost as much as a new printer.
Refills, quality not as good but they do the job. Manufacturers claim it can destroy your printer, but who cares if you buy a pair of original inks you can already buy a new printer! So if refills kill your printer, I doubt that it will, just buy a newer model diba.

hmm... meron brother printer dito HL 2040 pansin ko lang medyo mahal yun toner saka mabilis maubos saka kumukulubot yun papel sa roller nya kaya parang hindi malinis ang pagprint. yun hp naman bilis masira. within a year nakaka4 na hp na yun boss dito pero swabe print saka matipid. pro the best pa rin LX-300 dot matrix hehehe

May nakagamit na ba ng Brother DCP-115C? All-in-one, printer, flat bed scanner and copier. 4000 pesos 12 months 0% interest, 2 years warranty. Ink daw ay 900 pesos for black and 400 pesos for colored. Seems to be a good deal. Yun nga lang, had bad experience with previous brother printer and am not if it is a reliable printer. Household use lang naman.
