I have Epson L3150 and was able to connect my Windows 10 desktop PC to it over the network. Pero binind ko yung printer MAC address to 1 IP para if di madetect automatically ng mga devices, they can manually add the printer by entering the printer IP.

Did this route through windows... i set up the manual ip address and makikita naman ang ang mac ng printer but still it did not connect to the router...

may issue yata sa windows driver kasi when i use the mac driver, the same process sa windows, diretso2 connect nya...

I just remembered I downloaded an Epson software that will launch a setup wizard and download the correct drivers. That actually worked for me instead of manually downloading a Windows 10 compatible driver from Epson Support page.

I bought an Epson L3150 about a month ago (though, this will apply to any injket printer) and was scraping the internet on how to take care of it. Then I found this video and followed her advice. The darn tip works!

    TL;DR,
Avoid using the printer's head-cleaning feature, especially Epson's Power Cleaning, as it wastes a lot of ink and reduces the service life of the ink waste pads. Instead, print out customized purge sheets so you can target only the color or printhead that needs cleaning. This also means, you're printing on paper and not spitting out the ink onto the ink waste pad.

You can find tons of purge files on the internet or you can even make them yourself using just MS Word (the video will show you how). However, be sure to use a purge sheet that matches the number of colors your printer can print. The L3150 has 3 colors + black (CMYK). Other printers may have different shades of the same color (5 colors + black).

    Good tip! Thanks for this.

BTT hassle lang ma paper jam itong Epson L3110 unscrew and baklas ka talaga to clear it lalo na pag may naiwan sa feeder. Siraniko pa naman ako.

    ^ Been there. It’s frustrating.

As a loss leader product, they recoup through the sale of consumables, unfortunately.

IIRC the HP printers we've had have the heads built into the ink cartridges. Maybe that's why I never had an issue with any of our inkjets. Never had to clean the heads. Using original cartridges exclusively probably helped as well.

Our Epson is skipping pages, errr let me explain.

You are printing multiple pages then there will be a blank pages in between the printed documents.

Hindi ko ma figure out kung bakit.

    no definite number, naman.

    cheap, price-wise and maintenance-wise. matibay.

no need for automatic back-to-back printing, half-tones, wifi, etc.
    for plain document printing only.

If you can get your hands on an HP P1102 or P1102w, kahit used. There's an abundant supply of compatible 85a toner cartridges everywhere.

I sold my P1102w a few months ago but after going through 4 or 5 toner cartridges, it still worked like new. I had to rid of it to consolidate and reclaim desktop space when I bought an ink-tank multi-function printer.
