To Frank Drebin & Pajerokid,

I have installed NTI CD Maker 2000 & it works pretty well. I used Nero also before but Roxio seems to be better between the two. NTI CD Maker seems to be good too, simple & very easy to use.

guys, anong ok na printer? preferably HP sana. pls recommend either laserjet or deskjet. kaso nga lang super mahal laser na colored eh.

High-resolution printing?

for document/home use and for printing formal documents. doesn't have to be high res color printing capable. pero added bonus na yun kung oo

nagtotopak na kasi printer namin eh, HP deskjet 810c.

my dad's looking for a laser printer, pero out of the question kung colored kasi super mahal. what can u recommend?

I got the HP Laserjet 1000 printer for my shop. Costs about P14,000 in the stores. Original toner cartridge is about P2900 while refilled cartridges costs P1300 to P1500. A toner is good for about 2000 to 2500 pages under normal printing.

Needs a free USB port because it doesn't have a standard printer port to connect to your computer.

Personal experience, its a very good, quiet and fast laser printer. I haven't experienced a paper jam on it since I bought it in March 2003. I am already using refilled toner cartridges since May and no adverse effects on print quality. Downside, it only has one paper feed tray so you can't printer multiple sizes nor duplex.

Yup, it prints in black or tones of grey only. Color is great but too expensive (unless its for shop use & the toner supplies aren't too enpensive too).
