hehe actually yes nabangga nya yung elantra during wet practice. elantra ni john sambo yung gamit. yung unang bangga kay john yun. masyadong mabilis ang exit nya sa bus stop chicane so sumagi yung left rear ng elantra sa last tire barrier. so, pina-drive naman si monching using the same car ala "watch n learn" with john in the passenger seat. ayun, sobrang bilis naman ang entry speed (based on our theory ksi sobrang bilis ng pangyayari daw e hehehe) that upon entering the chicane, the car had a slight oversteer to the left, got grip suddenly, then the tail went the opposite way (to the right), as the front of the car hit the tire barriers, then the whole right side had a follow-through in the next set of barriers! spectacular talaga. sayang hindi namin navideo. nung pagbalik nalang nila sa pits namin nakita yung damage. tibay din ng elantra biro mo full frontal at side impact pero no major damage sa engine at chassis. (They usually take that chicane at 90-100kph in 2nd or 3rd gear pero depending on the car but suggestion nila 2nd gear for more torque) Leaking radiator hose lang ang nadali! try to watch the actual damage sa isang segment sa Speed ch5 every sunday at 11pm. tamang tama replay season ito so bka next sunday siguro ipalabas. new season will start yata next year na.

dun naman sa actual race, sina don at monching ang nagbanggaan. i wasn't able to witness it pero i think it was caught on film din. (next season na siguro yan sa Speed). don't know their view from the other camp pero i heard monching say the bump was inevitable bec of the way don moved di nya talaga maiwasan. so i guess it was just a pure racing incident. yun nga lang uminit ang ulo nung tatay (tom) at hinamon pa daw ng suntukan si monching hehehe :mrgreen: pero oks na naman sila ngayon :D
