*2006 engine spec has been downgraded to 2.4 liter displacement, naturally-aspirated, 8 cylinder 90 degree angle V-type block (from 3 liter V10 in 2005). Red Bull junior team (formerly Minardi) was allowed to keep 2005 spec V10 engine with several revisions to downgrade performance comparable to output of other teams' new V8 engines.
