    So allowed ang 993.

‘Coz back in Feb, I went with a friend to check out the 992 Carrera S in PGA. We compared the price of casa against the grey imports, casa cost around 2M more.

SA then asked us “Where will we have the car serviced?”(if we eventually buy the grey imports). We said here in the casa. Sabi nya they dont service/enroll grey imports.

Haay mga SA talaga. True for the most part but on some models they may have excess inventory. i have seen them undercut the price of same model grey imports. as to servicing they will service certain modern grey market models provided the casa cannot supply the exact model you have purchased. take for example yun 911r (991) i think there maybe two in the phils. also the carrera gt comes to mind. yung aforementioned ruf 997 tanggap sa casa service.

yun 992 na 15M you can get a healthy chunk off that price hindi nga lang 2M discount.

That's a custom-ordered forged Outlaw, a Walker iteration. The car's a rare '72 ST. Minilites instead of Fuchs were used then.

pretty and the 964 looks good too! hehe. 993 or 964. either way check for oil leaks or a dual mass flywheel going bad. any of those two needs fixing you WILL exceed 100k easily.

Agree. Subtle OE-inspired model-specific beaut that doesn't take your attention away from the car.

Are old water cooled Porsche 911s only good in high speed? In traffic, they tend to overheat?

If scouting for a Porsche, I would reco to connect with other owners of exotic cars. I could count in one hand the active forumers here who have any firsthand experience owning or driving an exotic, so this might not be the best avenue for that.

55M pesos roughly that's 1M usd. i wonder how they arrived at that price. even accounting for local taxes that is still a long..long way from the listed base price price of 273k usd.

PGA operates like car dealers in the USA. Eh over there the car is being marked up by $250k so they probably decided to do the same thing here.

1250 units worldwide, limited kaya siguro PGA thinks may bibili naman.

Pero with that price expect grey market units to enter the market, similar sa Lambo STO, na overpriced din locally.

BTW less than 5 lang ang 997 sport classic sa country, mas marami pa Laferrari.

But for the buyers of supercars, money is still an issue.

Like the Lambo STO, local AD brought one in, and it sat in the showroom for 2-3 weeks.

Unlike grey market dealers, they just made some phone calls, sold agad.

Difference is malaki din, grey units 40ish M, local unit 52-53M.
