Okay. So we saw how people reacted to the Ferrari question. Now here is the question. Sure the Italian beauty is pretty high maintenance. What about the Teutonic pride - the Porsche. They are reportedly practical and reliable sportscars that make good daily drivers. But are they worth it because it has been also reported that they are expensive to maintain.

If you had the resources would you consider one? And why? or why not?

IMO, unless a person has the moolah, any sports car could be hard to maintain.

If I had the resources, nope. I'm a practical kind of person. Besides, where in Metro Manila can one test the pure power of these beauties anyway? The NLEX and SLEX pretty much can't allow a speedster to go pedal to the metal due to traffic. However, I do agree that the "WOW!" "OHHH!" factors are present when driving this car. Pogi points baga. Even if you're not pogi, the car could make you one.

Yes I would, I'd get the 911 Turbo (if I had the money). Why? I love the lines, the fat tires, and oh yes the engine.

    Most definitely!
Although I can see it being very expensive to maintain back there. And the traffic...

Yes of course. Praktikal ba o hindi, who cares, mananaginip ka na nga lang may pros and cons pa rin ba?

Except the Cayenne please. Too ugly. But that's just me.

I'm not one to say no to a Porsche, so, yeah.

I admire the performance and engineering of Porsche's "Tank GTI". But does it really have to look like the overgrown mutated lovechild of a 911 and a Boxster?

sure I would definitely love to own a porsche if I can afford it, kahit Cayman S lang.

In the words of our motoring messiah J.C. (no, not Jesus Christ):

"It's not a bad car and in many respects it's a very good one, but just as no-alcohol lager defeats the objective, so does a Porsche off-roader. Can you imagine Land Rover producing a rear engined sports car? Exactly".

cool what did yo have? did you ever complain about parts or was owning and driving the car in itself worth it?
