A "healing president" or leader usually means people with political and criminal offenses who are either jailed or on trial being let off the hook in exchange for support --- a classic trapo move.

I'm sure, babalik din ang mga nakukuhang benepisyo ng mga obispo mula s PAGCOR as a form of "healing".

At may nabasa ako dati may kidney or liver problem daw si binay.

trapos switching camps is nothing new.

what's really baffling is that the filipino voters keep on patronizing them during elections

and then criticizing them soon after.

seriously... we need an overhaul of our voting system

seems like democracy is fast proving to be not for filipinos.

we simply can't handle it.

As long as you have an electorate that treats politicians like ATMs whenever there's a birth, baptism, marriage, funeral, etc., getting re-elected is an easy thing.

Just look at the entitlements being given to people in the City of Makati: free ball pens, notebooks etc. for students, free movies for senior citizens, cakes for their birthday, free hospitalization, etc. It's enough to keep the Binays in power for over 20 years and counting.
