Japan was already highly industrialized before WW2. They were building aircraft carriers already. Kahit sabog na yung factories, yung engineers nandun pa. Korea had the Chaebols, at tinulungan ng next door neighbour nila...Eh Pilipinas?

but japan's economy was a shell of its former self after the 2nd world war. w/o american money, their recovery would have been not as dynamic as it was. baka nga binodega pa ng china iyang japan kung hindi tinulungan ng amerika iyan kasi nga bad blood truly run deep between those 2 ancient civilizations

as for south korea, they were practically broken during the bloody korean war w/ its capital, seoul, heavily damaged due to the occupation of the north koreans and its subsequent chaotic liberation as spearheaded by the g.i. joes and its allies. w/ the americans supporting the gov't and simultaneously giving a huge amount of financial aid also, those favored chaebols (aka oligarchs) wouldn't have been in a position to spur the industrialization of sokor

ang pilipinas? she was left to her own devices

Majority of both Korea and Japan population are very patriotic. Mahal nila bansa nila and they sacrifice to ensure their country becomes strong and successful. Sa atin baliktad, majority of pinoys focus on what their country can do for them and not what they can do for their country.

Kita natin noong nuclear leak because of the tsunami in Japan, Japanese were volunteering to work in plugging the radiation leak. Knowing full well that they will die after this. They said they are doing this for the future of their generation.
