Sadly, in a way nasa side ako niya regarding population control it's a whole different matter but I do wish that running over those wiper-boys in Sta.Mesa and Quirino Avenue Extension would be legal.
Let's not get ironical.. I'm pretty sure everybody who crosses that intersection on a regular basis would have thought of that.

Those kids are the worst. I used to pass that everyday while I was still studying in ust. I would normally leave space (maybe a car length) in front so I would move forward if they're doing anything stupid.
BTT
I also agree with the need for population control and the Reproductive health bill is a good idea. It is a merely adequate bandaid solution requiring many generations before we see its effect.
A massive population may make us a more powerful economy, it will also reduce the average standard of living.

This is a free country. Everyone here is entitled to post his opinions w/o fear of getting picked by the dreaded Metrocom. Why don't you set up a shrine for your idol & invite like minded people for sit in chats & talk about all his glorious accomplishments? That would be interesting.

Still, I'd take a centralized corruption (Marcos) over systemic decentralized corruption (now) anytime.
Truthfully, naawa ako on our countrymen with regards that they're the one at the short end of the staw. Just now I talked with a friend who's quite well-connected in political might (hell, you'll see him in Binay's Facebook photo albums) and about the state of Philippine politics.. truly pitiful how our the political clans continue to setback progressive development.
Sure, we have crooks at the time of Marcos.. his cronies and all. But that didn't change today. In fact, sobrang systemic na nga that everybody simply wants a slice of the pie. Just look at our customs.. lahat meron from the clerks to the janitors. Holy crap. At least dati yun head lang. It's not just the customs but also our immigration and other government services. Then there's our political clans which dominate parts of Luzon's regions. How powerful do you think the Singsons are in their respective areas? The Arroyos? The Estradas? Much more powerful than you think.
Another case I'm following is the prominent Richard King slaying in Davao. Take note this is well-developed city but killings still continue under impunity. Sure, we have scrapegoats.. like those who is actually did the killing.. but on whether the true mastermind will be caught, that I'm skeptical. Buti nalang this is a high-profile case that involves a prominent businessman.. but what if you're the typical blue collar worker? Remember the gunman who shot a mayor's family upon arrival at NAIA? How's the progress there? I believe it's naive to think that nobody's impeding that case.Last edited by jhnkvn; June 30th, 2014 at 01:57 AM.

Time and again, give us data to support the claims.
It's not hard to gather facts during the Marcos era.

People keep yapping about centralized corruption. That centralized corruption brought down the country to its knees.
Total idiot.
