Ang alam ko during the martial law years nasa 4 % to 6 % ang unemployment rate. But right after martial law umakyat ito sa 8% to 10%. Mas marami ang pumipila para maghanap ng trabaho nung panahon ni cory.

Here is the correct unemployment data, para dun sa mga tubig pa nung panahon ng martial law.
1960 is 6.9% (cicred)
1970 is 7.7%. (cicred)
1971-1980 is 4.5% (nscb) - bumaba, bakit kaya? naubos siguro sa summmary execution, lol.
1981 - 1985 is 5.8% (nscb)
1986 - 2000 is 8.8% (nscb) - tumaas, kawawa naman, sinabayan pa ng pagmahal ng kilo ng galunggong, tsk tsk
2001-2005 is 10.7% (nscb) epekto ng power crisis? di bale lalo naman yumaman mga aboitiz at mga lopez.
