uls: actually you raise the exact point ..

it's been there for a "thousand" years primarily because that is what happens regardless of what you put in there ..

there was a case study: they gave a 100 people $1000 each ... put them in a market environment .. after a few months ... 20%of the people would have 80% of the cash ... dahil sa abilidad ng 20% ... dahil sa kulang ng abilidad ng 80%

the way to eradicate poverty or at least make it less so .. is that for the 20% to be non-exploitative of the 80% .. or make the pie bigger so that the 80% will still have more, relatively ..

which go backs to the case of electing leaders .. who will be the less exploitative leaders ... yung mga hindi ganid ... ergo ... noynoy ...

if you make the pie bigger, the top will just grab a bigger share, still leaving the bottom with just enough not to starve to death

it's not the size of the pie

the Phil. economy has grown bigger thru the years

those at the bottom are still at the bottom even when the pie got bigger

if Noynoy wins, the powerful interests will overpower him

it won't be Noynoy running the country

it will be the people around him

    nothing will change

i'm willing to bet on that

The top lives off the production of the bottom

you don't give the bottom so much that they stop producing

you give the bottom just enough that they'll be content, just enough that they don't go hungry, just enough that they don't rise up against the top

the top always takes more than it gives

it has been that way for thousands of years

since the start of human civilization
i agree..... idealism has blinded a lot of people from the truth but by analyzing history, it has always been like that since the human race started, only the names changed.

    yep

there are just too many idealistic people

it's like they live in a different world

they're always hoping and waiting for things to become fair and good and right

so they're always in waiting mode, unable to operate in the given environment

demanding the environment be changed so they would be able to operate

    realists accept the given environment

they evaluate the environment, figure things out quickly and operate

some figure out the environment so well they're able to game the system

    that's how realists get ahead

Confirming also that only idealists become heroes and pragmatists become the holders of power.

Confirming that unless the administration party cheats by fielding their own PCOS machines in Mindanao, Gibo will not win.

So why Gibo?
