Singapore is a city state. NCR is just a region in the Philippines. Hindi pwede i-control yung number of vehicles in NCR since marami nanggagaling sa ibang provinces.

We can't compare it to the Philippines.

Before buying a car, you will need to purchase a certificate of entitlement (COE) it allows you to own a car for 10 years.

After 10 years, you either buy another COE to extend the life of your car (to another 5 years)

Bidding ang COE so even if they announce that growth rate will be Zero (0), papalitan parin nila yung mga cars for scrap (expired COE) so may new cars pa din, mag mamahal lang COE.

Second is yung thinking ng Singaporeans... Naniniwala sila na on the 5th year, kailangan na palita suspension ng cars. On the 10th year, it has to go since luma na... So nawawala old cars sa kalsada...

singapore has been limiting the use of cars for many years now. it is nothing new to them.
besides, with a mass transport system as efficient as theirs, why would one want to drive a car?

Around S$35k price nya... Having one allows you to buy/use a car for 10 years.
