    Guys,

Ask ko lang, what options do I have? Read about the per cubic meter of Loose Cargo but I believe I don't need that much space or send that much stuff yet.

Meron ba kayong marerefer na ang charges is per box... Kindly post naman dito.

    Thanks in advance!

If I'm not mistaken, a friend of ours went with Manila Forwarders when they moved here.

Hanapin mo na lang sa Google baka may number na lumabas.

As far as I know, the charges going to the USA is a lot more than the balikbayan charges we pay when sending to the Phils. When going with a freight forwarder, the general rule of thumb is, the more you send the less you pay per kilo (or volume). Please let me know if you find anything too, I'm interested.

    OT: What's up happy g!

Your best bet is kung may balik bayan kang kakilala na pwede mong pakisuyuan. Also, search the internet. May kakilala kaming pinoy dito (Houston) na may ganyang 'small business' $75 per box (he'll provide a box then just fill it up, wag naman mga bakal ang ilagay, basta yung tamang "balik-bayan" box lang ang dating) but that's usually from here (US) to Phils (Manila). I dunno if he does Manila to US. I'll check on him this Thursday (kung magkikita kami sa basketball) and give you feedback.

Teka, may UPS ba dyan sa atin? FedEx? try mo LBC.

I think mas mahal kung phil papuntang US, nagpadala kami nyan before bumili kami dito ng mga narra furnitures pinadala sa utol ko, inabot ng $8k+ yun shipping pa lang... tapos pag dating doon meron pang taxes na binayaran, sa south carolina pala pinadala...

kung hinde baulky lagay mo na lang sa balikbayan box then check in, kung medyo malalaki no choice ka talaga kundi gumastos...ikaw na bahala kung worth it na gastusan yun gamit na dadalhin mo doon..

Masyadong mahal ang UPS/FedEx. Don't ask how I know.

Find one na ang binabayaran mo lang is per box, not by weight. Volume naman is consistent eh so that could be worked on with package handling (just be sure to wrap them properly).

Thank you all for your input. Went to ask mahal sobra yung Johnny parang mas maganda pa na dun ka nalang ulit bumili ng mga damit mo and other personal things... bago pa!

I guess wala talaga nagtatanggap ng per box na mura... sa US to manila mura before nakapagpadala ako $45 lang inabot.

Any idea's how much yung per cubic meter?

    thanks.
