    Opposing them are Arroyo (representing Kampi), Recto (who will file his candidacy under the Lakas-CMD party), Sen. Edgardo Angara (Laban ng Demokratikong Pilipino), former senators Vicente Sotto III and Tessie Aquino-Oreta (both from the Nationalist People’s Coalition), Michael Defensor (Liberal Party) and Lakas boys Bukidnon Rep. Miguel Zubiri, Surigao del Sur Rep. Prospero Pichay, Ilocos Sur Gov. Luis “Chavit” Singson and Zambales Gov. Vic Magsaysay.

    The 11th candidate to come on board for the administration was Leyte Gov. Jericho Petilla, who belongs to a well-known political clan in the Visayas.
    I guess this will certainly end Goma's political folly. Malapit na rin sasali sa ex-candidate column

    sino nakapanood dito sa mama na to.. nagdadrama sa s files yata yun.. inamin na wala talaga daw syang alam sa politica.. wala din yatang plataporma... pero "porma" meron.. yun lang naman alam gawin neto ehh..yung pumorma

    Richard Gomez filed his candidacy for senator as an independent.



    Gomez was accompanied by his wife Lucy Torres-Gomez and colleagues from show business namely Lolit Solis, Annabelle Rama, Gelli and Ariel Rivera; and professional basketball player Asi Taulava.

    Gomez said his main platform would be on youth and sports.

    “My focus will be on youth and sports. I am offering a youthful energy in the Senate,” said Gomez who had expressed interest in running under the administration ticket but was not included on the final list.

    Before this, the actor had also told deposed president Joseph Estrada that he would run for senator under the opposition but was likewise not included.

    Gomez said those who were underestimating him because of his profession were entitled to their opinions.

    sana yung mga pinoy na boboto, mas me utak kesa sa mga bobotohin...

    was able to watch richard sa s-file on national tv, if i were his critic, he wont even have an acting award for that dialogue, its has no substance and no heart, it lacks sincerity...

    he tries to get the sympathy of pinoy much like what gma did with her "i am sorry"

    anyway this is the longest thread so far...tsk tsk tsk daming tsikoteers ayaw sa artista, sige ilabas niyo lang and be heard=)
