and they also got so surprised to know how cheap the labor is in manila. dito, average salary ng dealer is around 100k pesos. dami pang benefits (2 days off per week, yearly salary increment, etc.).

the Macau govt is highly dependent on gaming tax for revenue

i may not be geographically located there unlike you but i cannot avoid coming across that kind of info even if i'm not interested in those things

sabi meron daw certain kind of visa restriction on mainland Chinese going to Macau

so what makes the Phils. attractive to foreign casino operators is the Phils. is outside China govt jurisdiction aside from what i mentioned earlier (lower taxes) the Phils. is only a few hours away from China, HK, SK etc so di malayo para sa mga Asian high rollers

you are so correct! before the sichuan earthquake around 3 years ago, chinese are allowed to enter macau once every week. pero nagalit ang beijing govt kasi masyadong mababa dinonate ng macau govt sa kanila after the earthquake. immediately, they restricted the visit to once every 2 months. pero now, ginawa na ulit once every month.

high rollers go to many casinos

so the idea is to include the Phils. as an Asian gambling destination

high rollers can go to Macau, to Sentosa, to Genting, to Manila Bay...

grand belle hotel & casino has been delayed because of their number of rooms. pagcor recently gave a directive that all new casino hotels should have at least 800 rooms. thus, their management is re-designing everything.

while bloomberry casino & hotel is on track. they are currently hiring now.
