ya their govt has excess money coz they collect so much taxes. actually they can only spend HALF of what they collect

pero sa income tax naman, sobrang liit lang. .03% not even 1%.
dyan yata sa atin almost 30%.

no it's gaming tax. it's big. tapos corporate tax pa. pls. check
kaya may incentive mag invest dito mas mababa taxes

yeah....i got that. oo mataas talaga dito. my COOs from my previous casinos/hotels are both in manila already. and they have informed me about that.

and they also got so surprised to know how cheap the labor is in manila. dito, average salary ng dealer is around 100k pesos. dami pang benefits (2 days off per week, yearly salary increment, etc.).

the Macau govt is highly dependent on gaming tax for revenue
i may not be geographically located there unlike you but i cannot avoid coming across that kind of info even if i'm not interested in those things
sabi meron daw certain kind of visa restriction on mainland Chinese going to Macau
so what makes the Phils. attractive to foreign casino operators is the Phils. is outside China govt jurisdiction aside from what i mentioned earlier (lower taxes) the Phils. is only a few hours away from China, HK, SK etc so di malayo para sa mga Asian high rollersLast edited by uls; March 12th, 2012 at 01:03 PM.

you are so correct! before the sichuan earthquake around 3 years ago, chinese are allowed to enter macau once every week. pero nagalit ang beijing govt kasi masyadong mababa dinonate ng macau govt sa kanila after the earthquake. immediately, they restricted the visit to once every 2 months. pero now, ginawa na ulit once every month.

grand belle hotel & casino has been delayed because of their number of rooms. pagcor recently gave a directive that all new casino hotels should have at least 800 rooms. thus, their management is re-designing everything.
while bloomberry casino & hotel is on track. they are currently hiring now.
