MANILA - Oil firms will again be reducing prices of fuel products on Tuesday, August 4.

Pilipinas Shell said prices of gasoline will be slashed by P0.40 per liter; kerosene by P0.70/li; and diesel by P0.90/li effective 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday.

Flying V will be cutting prices of gasoline by P0.30/li; kerosene by P0.75/li; and diesel by P0.90/li also by 12:01 a.m.

Phoenix Petroleum, meanwhile, will be reducing prices of gasoline and diesel only by P0.40/li and P0.90, respectively, effective 6 a.m. -- Report from Alvin Elchico, ABS-CBN News

Diesel malakas demand, pero still taxes ang magcommand talaga ng price. Strict tayo sa clean air act, kaya nga wala sa atin incenerators ng waste, ginagawa eh hinahalo na lang sa fuel ng semento mga ibang basura na may high heat value hehehe, pero magbabayad pa yung may ari ng basura.

Ang kalokohan sa compliance natin sa clean air act, kung guato talaga natin ipatupad, maging strict sa emission testing ng mga sasakyan or yung, taasan prsyo ng diesel.

Mga crdi ngayon nakakaloka maintenance. Mas ok pa nung adventure at crosswind wala sakit ng ulo.

Back in 2005 the price gap between diesel and gas is around 3 pesos. The same reason why i got the innova gas over its diesel brethren.

Now the diesel price level is back where it was then but price gap between the two is about 14 pesos. Dunno' if taxes is all the culprit here?

What made you say this? Ano ba kailangan maintain? Sorry not familiar with diesel maintenance talaga. Do u mean changing the injectors?
