I imagine they can't use seniors in cashier, maybe for light kitchen duty? Or cleaning table? It will be awkward seeing your table being cleaned by a lola before you sit in it.

Marami naman blue collar sa first world, usually cashier sa supermarket. I love how Isko is applying first world policies in Manila

it'll be painful. some folks will even get angry and "strike back via media".
but if they do it often enough, i believe it'll work.

i once asked someone there, why seniors were working as such.
sabi niya, "the younger ones prefer to work in other endeavors, that make more money".

Even in sing, taipei and seoul, its not a job for some, it a way for them to know they still have a purpose, something to look forward to..
