December 1st, 2013 01:53 PM #1458PNoy planning to meet with Biazon - Palace
MANILA -- Malacañang on Saturday said President Benigno Aquino III is planning to meet with former Muntinlupa Congressman and now Customs Commissioner Ruffy Biazon who was included in the second list of individuals charged over the multi-billion peso pork barrel scam.
However, Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Sonny Coloma did not give details on when the meeting will take place and what will be discussed.
"Ang sabi po ng ating Pangulo ay magkakaroon po ng pagkakataon mapag-usapan -- o kakausapin niya si Commissioner Biazon hinggil dito. Iyon lang po ang kanyang sinabi," Coloma said.
Biazon, who is an ally of the administration, is accused of pocketing P1.95 million in pork barrel funds when he was still congressman of Muntinlupa.
Coloma said there is no truth to reports that the President already wants Biazon out of office amid his links to the pork barrel anomaly.
"Wala pong impormasyon hinggil diyan," he said.
He also said there is no legal compulsion for Biazon to go on leave. When asked if Biazon should instead vacate his post out of delicadeza, Coloma said: "Iyong delicadeza po kasi ay indibidwal na desisyon."
Biazon earlier said he is ready to answer all the accusations against him, noting that he always exercised prudence and fidelity in the performance of his duty as congressman of Muntinlupa.
He said he pursued projects and programs that benefited his constituents.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Friday filed malversation, graft and bribery charges against 34 individuals, seven of whom are former congressmen.
Aside from Biazon, the former congressmen facing charges in the second batch of cases are Salacnib Baterina (1st District Ilocos Sur), Douglas Cagas (1st District Davao del Sur), Marc Douglas Cagas IV (1st District Davao del Sur), Rodolfo Valencia (1st District Oriental Mindoro), Arthur Pingoy Jr. (2nd District South Cotabato), and Arrel R. Olaño (1st District Davao del Norte).
Janet Lim Napoles, the alleged mastermind of the pork barrel scam, is also included in the second batch of cases. The first batch of cases filed before the Office of the Ombudsman included 39 individuals including Senators Juan Ponce Enrile, Jinggoy Estrada and Bong Revilla.

This will be a good test for Ping. Kapal mukha talaga nitong si Biazon, gusto pa yata kaladkarin sa silya nya.
Ito naman si Bulldog De Apat, isasama sa listahan ng kakasuhan tapos depensa hindi naman daw dapat magresign.
Inakusahan mo na, ayaw mo pa umalis??? ever wonder why the collection is always short. kapit tukong congressman kapit tukong commissioner. lucky guy, his always where the money is.

Wow! Ruffy Biazon is a member of LP, in fact his father is one or the senior member and hold influence sa party...
So debunked na yun puro opposition lang dinedemanda na sinasabi ng mga Gordon, gibo, villar, erap supporters.

Buti na lang I still have 9 more years to enjoy my DL before I worry about any changes.
