    The court acknowledged that the DAP “yielded undeniably positive results that enhanced the economic welfare of the country.”

    Unfortunately, even if this was posted in absolute sarcasm, it might be the unholy truth...

    The DAP is sheer hypocrisy... but in and of itself, is hard to prosecute as a crime. Administrative case, maybe, but not bloody likely for a while.

    What's nice to note is that the SC voted it down 13-0... still independent.

    Perhaps what will come out of the Aquino administration is a sense that there are no holy cows. Everyone, from now on, will be open to criticism and can be held liable for wrongdoings.

    That's until Binay declares Martial Law...

    Still prefer it Starship Troopers (from the book, not the movie) style:

    Only those who've volunteered for a three year hitch in the military can vote.

    No draft. No conscription. If you want to vote, sign up to die for your country.

    Should simplify politics enormously.

    Then also require those who would like to run for government position at least 5 years in the military. The higher the position, the longer the requirement.

    Teka lang, akala ko tinangal si Corona para ma control ni PNoy ang SC.

    PNoy = mediocre
